The Dew Drop Inn Virtual Rugby Pub
First topic message reminder :
Welcome to the Virtual Rugby Pub - a place where you can come in for a sly beverage and discuss whatever's on your mind, or just eavesdrop on the regulars if you fancy a break from all the rugby chat.
The only rule in this pub is one of mutual respect for everyone in it, oh and no defacing the pictures of Denis Hickie, Shane Horgan, Ben Morgan and Selorm Kuadey above the bar!

MrsP, you read this from Will Greenwood? He's a bit of secret love for Ulster I think;
http://www.telegraph.co.uk/sport/rugbyunion/club/9028567/Heineken-Cup-men-from-Ulster-have-confounded-me-and-been-a-glorious-revelation.html
His article must have just been filed before results elsewhere qualified us though.

Morning.
New shiny washing machine delivered by two really nice Yorkshire lads and it's on the go. Never thought I'd be so pleased to see a new kitchen appliance. Phew!

Nice one on the washing machine, Cari
And bore da folks, how is everyone today?
I really need to get out and do some siopa today, but tis piddling down outside, so am much much more tempted to cwtch up in the flat and wait for the rugby to start. Decisions, decisions....

Re: The Dew Drop Inn Virtual Rugby Pub
Rodders, the best sentence is; "the rest of them ran like pasty Irish ghosts who could decide when to take contact or float through gaps."
We have to plead the rest of the pubs patience. Us Ulster fans are noisy, passionate and we have tunnel vision on our team so this establishment is too often taken over by Ulster chat!
I am good dreamer. I am at work and I finish at 5, so I'll have to keep the ttrack open late so I can see the whole game uninterrupted. Hopefully be able to find a good stream.

Re: The Dew Drop Inn Virtual Rugby Pub
nice one Notch, am sure there'll be some good streams about. Am getting worried for the Scarlets match, tis on the red button so have a feeling I might struggle a big!
Also, does anyone want to finish off my application form for me? (wishful thinking I know!) I've only the personal spec bit to go, but tis oh soooo the most boring part. I blydi well hate filling out these forms.

Afternoon all.
Looking forward to a relaxed afternoon watching rugby. It's wonderful what a win in Galway will do to calm an Ulsterman's nerves
Just saw Mrs P and myself on the telly again celebrating Gilroys try last weekend.

oooh sexton not starting.
And afternoon all. Have made my decision that it will be an afternoon of sleep and rugby for me. Need to get myself 100% for my training on Monday.

Didn't Sexton hurt his ankle last week? Maybe that's why he's off.

tis a 3 day training course with work Cari, but there's an exam at the end of it, so I need to get my head to stop feeling like it's full of cotton wool if I've a chance of passing!
Ah yeah, they've just said he hurt it against Glasgow, shame that.

Re: The Dew Drop Inn Virtual Rugby Pub
And Ruddock Gibbo. But you ARE qualified for the quarters!
Not going to take away from the Leinster Academy though, they have an unreal production line. Munster and Ulster have the capacity to produce occasional amazing generation (like Munsters class of 2000 or the Ulster side that dominated the Interprovincial championship for years) but neither of us have been able to produce players as consistently as Leinster are starting to do.
See Agustin Creevy is at Montpellier now. Very promising player, we'll see a fair bit of him in test rugby without a doubt.

Re: The Dew Drop Inn Virtual Rugby Pub
D'Arcy did really well there for the Kearney try. Wallace had a very good game last week versus Leicester. I don't think Ireland have world beating options at 12 but our 'problems' in that position are dramatically overstated by the fans. The only problem I see at 12 is that neither Wallace or D'Arcy look half as good in a green shirt as we know they can both play. Think our backs coaching is the real issue because you see Wallace and D'Arcy in these big Heineken Cup games playing really very well.
Oh, and very much obliged Gibbo!
