The Dew Drop Inn Virtual Rugby Pub
First topic message reminder :
Welcome to the Virtual Rugby Pub - a place where you can come in for a sly beverage and discuss whatever's on your mind, or just eavesdrop on the regulars if you fancy a break from all the rugby chat.
The only rule in this pub is one of mutual respect for everyone in it, oh and no defacing the pictures of John Hayes, Craig Gilroy,
Niall O'Connor, Ben Skirving and Jonny May above the bar!

Actually no, I can't say that I have. Just bog standard moisturiser. It's tight and scabby but it's not itching as yet.

Re: The Dew Drop Inn Virtual Rugby Pub
Morning Mrs Penfro. I'll have a with you.
Must be one of those days for some of the regs.
It's been absolutely pouring down here all day. Must be worse up north. 100mm in one hour up the coast and over 300mm in 24 hours in some places. I've got a bad feeling there's going to be some horrendous flooding again.
I see Campo has been having a wee dig at Robbie Deans. He thinks we need to ditch him and get a true blue Aussie in the coaching position - someone like Ewen McKenzie - who understands how we think. I like Robbie but I can also see Campese's point; even though he's a known rugby expert/protaganist.

He's Neil Francis in disguise.
This pub becoming nocturnal or what. 24 hour opening has just seen more and more sessions in the early hours, but early evenings are dead.
Bore da. Cheers Rava.

Oh he was great to watch... one of my favourites.
A physio friend of mine used to give him a 'work-over' at the Sports Academy. She told me he had a circular hairline below the neck/top of chest which had to be maintained on a regular basis. (It mirrored the T-shirts he wore) Very curly stuff too! Must be all that pasta.

Well, we find out shortly if it’s Saturday.
Given that there’s 2 matches in Ireland that weekend, and neither can be on “good” Friday because the church still has it’s hands down the trousers of the state and it’s a dry day, we’re probably going to be on either Saturday lunchtime or Sunday. Hopefully it’s Saturday, we can have a big knees up after

This is an ad for a position with Kukri Sports in Lisburn: -
Kukri Sports is expanding! We are looking for a dynamic and organised individual to become part of our Sales Support Team in Ireland.
In this role you will work within the head office in Lisburn to support both the Kukri Sales Manager and the customer. We are looking for someone who understands the importance of wowing a customer with outstanding customer service/support and wants to be part of a growing and energetic team. Computer literacy and keyboarding skills are an absolute must alongside an excellent sense of customer service, telephone and email etiquette, the ability to multi task and work well in a fast paced environment and strong organisational skills.
Why did they not just say they were looking for a woman?

I’ve never heard of “Keyboarding skills” Rav. Being computer literate would imply you know how to use a keyboard. Is this some new sport I’m yet to hear of, like extreme ironing or arsedarts?
Also, I find that sexist. Men can multitask just as well as….

Morning all,
Another busy day ahead. Got a rugby match, where thankfully I'll be playing full back this time, then squash then off to see Sherlock Holmes (finally).
How are ye all anyway? Any major news?

Morning all, ; and seeing as it's Burns night <haggis>
We won netball 19-15 last night, not bad considering we'd had to rope in one of my workmates and a teammate's workmate to play. So 2 matches into the new season, and we've beaten 2 teams we lost to last season . On the downside, I appear to have tweaked a quadricep, and I'm a bit sore this morning.

Bonjour all
Grey old day here today. Finding it difficult to motivate myself to do any work this morning, and that is not aided by the fact that our management structure has been changed again so everyone is left a bit up in the air with knowing what is happening.

Sunday 8th of April. The changing of the guard...
Hopefully.
I see Guscott has gone for an all Irish final in his latest q&a (Leinster v Munster). However he also seems to be under the impression Neil Best is one of our most influential players so I'll take the former with a pinch of salt.

Ah, give him a break Willy. What he actually says is this;
It's not like he's writing us off out of hand! I think we have to accept that certain teams have earned the right to be called favourites at their home ground whoever they play. Munster and Clermont are two of them, and we're building that kind of reputation slowly at Ravenhill.
On the road, it'll take us to take a big scalp away before we put serious doubt in the minds of the pundits.
Munster have found a way of winning again. They scraped through their first games but ended by demolishing Northampton away from home in their last game. The third of the Irish teams to qualify for the quarter-finals, Ulster, have a real inner strength and belief that could get them past a lot of teams.
...
However, at this time I believe it will be a Leinster v Munster final.

You alright Stag?
After last week, my trust in the pack has diminished too much to play out half again this week. Add in the shocking training and I much prefer the wide open spaces of full back.
