Lie
Although if it is true, then the reasoning must be seriously interesting.

Should have been shoreline.
Think Mull of Kintyre, Loch Linnie etc.

I would say that is true on the logic that more men work and play outdoors than women, and they are generally taller!

Doon is old enough to remember when the great John White was struck and killed when in his footballing prime . . . . . Not to mention the Highgate / Enfield game a year or two later.

Re: Trivia
Seen him play Kwinni.
One of the best inside forwards in Scottish football.
To all those born after 1955.
An inside forward played an attacking role in a club that played with a set up of three central backs two midfielders and FIVE forwards unlike the modern game where we have FIVE defenders, four midfield players and one forward.
The ball was heavy leather, the boots were solid leather with 2" leather studs, the hair was short and brylcreamed, there was no substitutes, shorts were long and footballers were real men.
[and a half time fag was seen as normal]

Re: Trivia
Wasn't it goalkeeper, right back, left back, right midfielder, centre half, left midfielder, right wing, inside right, centre forward, inside left and left wing and they were usually numbered 1-11 in the above order?

Re: Trivia
The centre half nearly always played in the centre of a back three
The inside forwards tended to play slightly deeper than the wingers and centre forward.

Re: Trivia
I was joking, but people do tend to number children in order of birth so given that the question listed the five daughters it would be as good a way to order them as any other.
New question
Who was the last american to win a regular (non major, wgc, co sanctioned nonsense) European tour event?

Kwini
For feck sake, if that is true you could have held it back a bit longer, to make my question look a little respectable. I haven't even had time to find out the answer yet.
I will report back soon.

You are wrong with Di Marco for non major, wgc or co samctioned events.
on top of the original question if we expand the question to co sanctioned events that are not the HSBC champions event who is.
