The Dew Drop Inn Virtual Rugby Pub
First topic message reminder :
Welcome to the Virtual Rugby Pub - a place where you can come in for a sly beverage and discuss whatever's on your mind, or just eavesdrop on the regulars if you fancy a break from all the rugby chat.
The only rule in this pub is one of mutual respect for everyone in it, oh and no defacing the pictures of
ST DAVID, THE Prince of Wales and WALE'S CAPTAIN
Happy St David's day

Rory Best as Irish captain. Ryan in for PoC, Reddan in for Murray. McCarthy and TOL on the bench. What an absolute Flip shambles.

Would have liked to see a bit more rotation. Feel like an exhausted Ireland will be staggering over the line at Twickenham.

Wouldn't call it a shambles Willy, would make a few alterations but far from a disgrace.

The Ireland team is… grand. I mean we weren’t expecting any more changes than the ones enforced by injury were we?
Can I just say again though, Brad Thorn has signed for Leinster!!

Losing two of your big leaders and springing in a load of new guys wouldm't be too smart.
My dad put a fiver on Arsenal last night for the craic, he nearly won €250! It was a great game, Chamberlain is like Walcott 2.0. Pacey, with a great football brain an eye for a pass a decent cross and a lot more poise. Him and Wilshere will be great for England in the future.

Good news for the boys in blue, really pleaded for the Leinster regs. It's a good indicator of how well Leinster have playing over the last couple of years and how ambitious they are for the future.
Did I mention I was top of the Guineas fantasy league?

I haven't looked at my team in the fantasy league in a month
Good to see Brad Thorn having a spell in Ireland - he's won Super Rugby, NPC, NRL, RWC and RLWC titles, and having access to someone with experience of the Crusaders and Brisbane Broncos can only be good.
Though, if he picks up an HEC & Rabo title this year, what price him turning up in the Jeff or Superleague next year to complete some sets?

Re: The Dew Drop Inn Virtual Rugby Pub
rumours are doing the rounds that Iestyn Thomas might not be able to play rugby again after a neck injury he's picked up this season. The Scarlets players Testimonial Year curse has possibly struck again.
It'll be a massive blow to us if this is true

Someone on Leinster fans said he won every pro competition he played in. I know he won a couple of Trinations and a state of origin too. that’s pretty good going.
Like you needed another reason to support the Crusaders of the north wha?

Yes but I'm going to race up to the mid point after this week as my team is full of Scotts.

Well like Lucky posted earlier, there's plenty of time for "the wheels to come off". I wouldn't say the wheels are coming off exactly, but I'm definitely running on a couple of flats - totally fubbed up my transfers this time round as they're locked until midnight Sunday; I've got POC and Warburton in there and there's nowt I can do.

I don't have enough transfer points to change my scrum half so I'm stuck with Cusiter. Otherwise, got to say, am pretty happy with my team.

I've been picking up easy points by picking plenty of players from the team that's playing Italy
For instance this weekend I've got Stuart Hogg and... well you can't be too careful can you?

That's going to be a messy weekend Gibbo, you might come back from that with yer liver in a sling
Yeah, I'm expecting to lose plenty of ground this weekend so it should all rest on Super Saturday - I've just read that Parra has been dropped too, so I'm three down now.
