First topic message reminder :

Welcome to the Virtual Rugby Pub - a place where you can come in for a sly beverage and discuss whatever's on your mind, or just eavesdrop on the regulars if you fancy a break from all the rugby chat. The pub has teleported itself inside Millenium Stadium this week to see if the men in red can manage a Slam. There's also TVs showing the other 6N matches, the U20s and Womens' matches, Super XV, the "Classic" match and LV= Cup action.

The only rule in this pub is one of mutual respect for everyone in it, oh and no defacing the pictures of Mervyn Davies and Jock Hobbs above the bar!

A wee bit, we've been poor enough but England have no precision or cutting edge either.

Tom Court actually had a very good first scrum, time to step up. We need Angry Tom!

Actually scrap that I am being overly critical. We have two of the best players on the pitch in Kearney and Sexton. God give us a scrum please!!

Did Dylan Hartley bite Stephen Ferris? The Irish players claim he did.

D'Arcy needs to go now. Time for Kidney to show us his big, brass balls with some big match calls.

Would someone please tell Brian Moore how to pronounce our Full Back's name?

It's not like he is a new face or anything, is it?

Why is Gordon Darcy there?

I know there has only been one scrum since Tom Court came on but I hope George Hook was watching it!

Luckily no. Watch some other code in the afternoon. I'll be fine thanks.

Had a feeling this might be one of those games but I tried to 'believe' .... what's this? A bloody ref conversation now? Painful stuff at this early hour.

I don't think that was a penalty try in truth. Trimble made a try saving tackle as the whistle blew.

Game over I suspect.

Yes we will breaker. Yes we will.

O'Leary has been diabolical since he came on. We are being shoved all over the pitch.

I feel most sorry for Tom Court, who is a pretty handy loosehead and just not a tighthead prop in any way, shape or form.

The one good thing may be... another serious soul searching session and as Gibbo and others have indicated, some serious changes to critical positions. Maybe the coach too. You guys would know better than me.

Somehow have to pick up the pieces and start afresh. No shame in it but very frustrating for the fans to have to go through the process again. It must be done - no papering over cracks.

This is just a bad day but hopefully things may improve. England really aren't that good a side. Average at best, imo.

I am bleeding here lads but at the same time it's actually a relief because maybe now something will happen with Irish Rugby.
First thing. Kidney must be thanked for his services and sent back to take over at Munster from McGahon. Then we need to try to persuade Conor O'Shea to leave his cushy job at Quins.

The coach should be changed, but we all know he won't at all. We knew we needed changes before this but once again we've ignored the warning signs and had our players mouthing off in the press this week.

We've crumbled here, crumbled. This Ireland team ain't coming back from this. Time for a new broom to sweep through Irish rugby.

I would say that I did predict two things. I said this England team would do well right at the start of the 6N. I also said that Morgan would be MOM.

Don't despair peeps. Ireland still have quality players, they just need to get their collective mojo back. England have their team spirit back but their are probably no more than 3 you would want in your team.

After that first scrum in Dublin last year I was pleased that we put that to rest today; and then some.
