The Dew Drop Inn Virtual Beach Leileifiafiafale, Samoa
First topic message reminder :
Talofa*, afio mai** to the Leileifiafiafale*** - a place where you can come in for a sly beverage and discuss whatever's on your mind, or just eavesdrop on the regulars if you fancy a break from all the rugby chat. The pub has ventured to Samoa because Biltongbek fancied cocktails on the beach.
The only rule in this pub is one of mutual respect for everyone in it, oh and no defacing the pictures of the recently retired Lloyd Burns and Peter Short; Richardt Strauss and Stephen Jones or the posters for "Stamp Out Racism" featuring Pat Lam and "Justice 4 John Afoa".

The sun is shining, we have had a fantastic family Easter, Ulster are through to the HEC semi and the SUFTUM tee shirts I ordered yesterday have arrived!
And the facepaints in white, red and black too!
If you're happy... then I'm happy MrsP. Great times ahead for Ulster I feel.
Go you good things!

I saw those too Notch but I was thinking we have to clearly differentiate us Ulster fans from the Edinburgh supporters. They are black and red, two of our colours, so I thought we'd stick with white.
Let's turn Lansdowne Ulster White for the day!

Re: The Dew Drop Inn Virtual Beach Leileifiafiafale, Samoa
I don't actually have an Ulster jersey Cari.
The shame.
The 7 tickets are costing us a blooming fortune so I thought I'd go for a £10 tee shirt rather than the £40-£50 rugby shirt.
MrP and the 4 youngest kids all have shirts but me and our eldest are going for the tees!
Mind you, the "wee" fella has grown so much that his Ulster shirt looks more like a crop top now so we got him a "new" one from ebay!

You can get a white one of those
I'll have my little flag from the Thomond game anyway. This is such a massive pay-day for Kukri Sports- and for Ulster. Now I understand why Kukri are willing to pay so much more in sponsorship the further Ulster get in the Heineken Cup.

A bit of white and black through your hair too MrsP?
Or would that be overdoing it slightly with the T-shirt and face paint?

Did you see UR have ordered 10,000 flags Notch.
I reckon they will need more than that!
Last night ticketmaster only had 8,000 seats left.

Thanks Mrs P... but my plan for the day was to go and climb some vertical sea cliffs then come home and watch the Ulster game with a few .... not as much fun if you're carrying a box of tissues....

It's going to be great. A crowd of Ulster fans on a par with the Final in 1999, at the same venue. It's up to us to drown out the Edinburgh fans and spur Ulster on to victory.
Going to be such a wonderful day.

Does anyone else think, especially in the case of football, that until the players Re castigated for their actions rather than blaming the referee, these problems will always be there.

Just make sure it's mostly white Bikkies.
When you say you are going to make your own tee shirt, do you mean from scratch like?
Should we expect applique and sequins?

You need to swap the "a" with the second "o" in,
"...arrrrn in ontoy..."
Should be,
"....orrrrn it ontay...."

So much to learn...
Well I'm going to buy a tshirt and print something onto it. I'll try and get a red and white one. No sequins, but maybe some darts in the side to accentuate my figure
I see what you mean about McFaddens running style btw. He naturally runs a bit like that but he was exaggerating it to avoid a tap tackle I reckon.

I don't suppose anyone remembers this. On Ye Olde 606, during the Six Nations Annual Irish International Player Choices Bunfight...I mean Discussion, Notch said "...I'm A Secret Shaggy Fan". I always thought he should've put that on a tee shirt. Shame Shaggy's retired now. That tee would've been quite funny

All this talk of semi-finals is making me green with envy. I have checked out every possible method of getting to Bordeaux from here and back and a combination of costs (can't see how it can be done for less than 500 notes) and time constraints (need to be back home by the afternoon of the 30th) means that it just isn't going to happen Bl**dy Sunday afternoon KOs

Re: The Dew Drop Inn Virtual Beach Leileifiafiafale, Samoa
I was just saying to MrP today what a crying shame it is that there is so little notice for fans to get to their teams semi.
It is so terrible to qualify for such an occasion and then not be able to get there, usually because the airlines immediately push the prices right up!
Come to Dublin instead Puma. Watch our semi and then find a pub in Leinsterland to watch yours.

Thats why we're so lucky our semi is in Dublin. It's not like they are going to hike the tolls on the motorway to Dublin... probably...

White Rava!
It has to be white lest you are mistaken for an Edinburgh fan.
See, I know you are so reserved at Ulster matches that folks might not realise who you are supporting!
