The Dew Drop Inn Virtual Beach Leileifiafiafale, Samoa
First topic message reminder :
Talofa*, afio mai** to the Leileifiafiafale*** - a place where you can come in for a sly beverage and discuss whatever's on your mind, or just eavesdrop on the regulars if you fancy a break from all the rugby chat. The pub has ventured to Samoa because Biltongbek fancied cocktails on the beach.
The only rule in this pub is one of mutual respect for everyone in it, oh and no defacing the pictures of the recently retired Lloyd Burns and Peter Short; Richardt Strauss and Stephen Jones or the posters for "Stamp Out Racism" featuring Pat Lam and "Justice 4 John Afoa".

Twice in 60 secs, Murphy almost busts the gain line.

Aironi giving it a good effort, putting on the pressure, the razor is still beating the noose though.

Ah, good try Scarlets. Can't help but feel sorry for Aironi. A lot of heart and endeavour but not enough precision, flair or strong defence.

16 - 26. Aironi could still get an LBP for what it's worth, if nothing else.

Great break from Davies, cross kick from Priestland to Lamont, off loads to Liam Williams but he passes to an Aironi player, Goes through the phases and Aironi score under the posts. Finishes 23 - 26

I think Munster, Glasgow and the Ospreys will all win both of their remaining games.
Pretty much guarantees the top four will remain as it currently is.

Re: The Dew Drop Inn Virtual Beach Leileifiafiafale, Samoa
I do Bikkies.
Leinster should fear no-one.
As I said before, if we were to make the final, I know which team I would fear most! I'll let you guess but give a heavy hint by saying that my desire for you lot to make the final is because it would be good for Irish rugby, not because you would be an easier option for whoever wins our semi!
And of course because we all love you and Gibbo and MickyT and Hughie(which team is Hughie supporting this week?)!

Re: The Dew Drop Inn Virtual Beach Leileifiafiafale, Samoa
They are the biggest challenge possible. Especially away. No doubt. I just feel we have another 2 gears to shift into and are just cruising at the minute. Im worried about it. Of course I am. They have one of the best squads on the Planet and have stated that the HC is their prime target this year. But I think we will have too much nous for them in the end. They are European babies. We have been there. And we have BOD & Leo back. Thorn's experience to counteract Hines, will be priceless. We are better all over the Park. And better as a unit. In my not so humble opinion.
Believe.
Believe.

Re: The Dew Drop Inn Virtual Beach Leileifiafiafale, Samoa
I think we can beat Clermont if we get through. Honestly don't think we can beat Leinster in a game of that magnitude- yet. But Clermont are a real danger to Leinster, I think it would be a very smart punt to put a few euros on an Ulster vs Clermont final.
I'm not being arrogant- the last thing Ulster need is to get complacent!- we have a big job to do, but thats the way i see it. I do hope it is Ulster vs Leinster. The dream is an all-Irish final.

Quiet innit.
Arrived in my current location. Very hot here and not much to do. Just hoping that I am back on Wednesday so I can go to the Liberty on Friday. Going for the trip and the day out more than anything, but it should be a good day. Last time I'll see Shane play live too ( hope he starts). Anyway, see you around like a doughnut.

Would you believe I have just been listening to middleP practising for her French Oral?
Hope your accent is better than hers. Wasn't easy trying to convince her that the French word for "hair" is not pronounced Chev-ux!

"it's Canard Del"
"you're telling me Rodney!"
Anybody else think that Ulster should put out their strongest team possible against Leinster?
Reasons:
1 a win would be psychologically huge if they are to face them in the ERC final
2 Edinburgh got smashed, if Ulster seconds do as well Leinster will be unstoppable in Twickenham
3 Playing is the best preparation for a big match
4 players get injured in training anyhow
5 need to get momentum going
6 nobody expects it - ballsy move.

Morning folks
Rolling through the English countryside on the way to paddington from devon after a weekend of madness in Chez Asbo. Man it was some laugh and a big thank you must be extended to the man and doris for the exceptional hospitality as per usual. Fair play buddy superb weekend
Light frost on the ground down this way, makes the countryside look beautiful.
Good question about Ulster Glas, its a hard one to contemplate though, its basically lose lose for ulster as they are going to get smashed either way

Morning all
I don't know where you get this from.
Ulster have played their best available team in the week before all their HC games this season. Absolutely no reason why they would change that now.

It's the semi final, whatever you did for the groups, most people would expect you to rest a few.
As to tactics - Don't play in your own half unless it's a rolling maul. Get in the scrummaging machine all week.

Bore da pawb / good morning all. Nippy here on the docks this morning but at least it's dry, which won't be the case for most of this week, so they say.
I won £85 on the National on Saturday, which almost eased the pain of the Dragons being so poor on Friday night. Very few positives to take from the performance.

I said it in here yesterday and I can assure you I’m not fishing for complements for my team but I can’t see us beating Clermont next week.
I might even nip out and put a fiver on Ulster for the cup, they’d have a much better chance against Clermont in Twix than we do in Bordeaux…

First game in am absolute age that Leinster are playing that I'm not super confident of winning in.
It's great, really builds the excitement for the game.
It's going to need an absolute massive performance to get the result. Is it possible??? Of course. Is it probable?? That I'm not so sure about but itll be great finding out

I have a positive for me Lucky. I wasn't there.
Mrs P, Shane will play in the semi I presume, but I have no interest in that. Plus a derby should in theory be a bigger gate, though the Ospreys opposition will be weaker than whoever their semi final opponents will be.
