The Dew Drop Inn Virtual Rugby Pub, Dar es Salaam
Hamjambo. Karibuni Virtual Rugby Pub - a place where you can come in for a sly beverage and discuss whatever's on your mind, or just eavesdrop on the regulars if you fancy a break from all the rugby chat. The pub has ventured to Dar es Salaam in Tanzania to visit pub regular MBTGOG on his big trip there. Maisha marefu! Afya! Vifijo!
The only rule in this pub is one of mutual respect for everyone in it, oh and no defacing the pictures of Sir Fred "The Needle" Allen, Aberdeen Shikoyi, Isoa Damudamu, Chris "Mossy" Patterson, Nathan Hines and Simon Danielli. The poor defenseless IRB referee's jersey draped over the dartboard is fair game though

Not at all Rodders.
In fact "Rodd Penney's Munster" is a direct anagram of "Penny orders me nuts!"

Kiwi, have you seen where there is a SportGuru - Summer Tours rugby prediction game. Are you going to set this one up as you have so manfully done for the rest?

Yep, I'll attack that a bit later. Need to sign off now for a bit and get some work done.

Patrick Kielty - it's just like a penalty shoot out, 3 questions each. So, not very alike then

I can't listen to Patrick Kielty, Glas. He's a lousy radio presenter.

Bikkies,
Really sorry you can't get to Twickenham!
I suppose you'll just ahve to wear the tee shirt at home while you watch the match!

That tshirt was retired last week. It's gone to the back of the wardrobe with my signed saints jersey from last year, my Christmas jumper and my "I Lent" tshirt.
It's war between us from now on i'm afraid

That's not very fair!
I have worn BLUE for the past couple of HEC finals that you guys were playing in!
It's your turn to return the favour by wearing WHITE.

Stag those packages you are doing for the HC Final seem pretty good value. Are you getting many takers?
You should try to get on to a couple of the local radio stations and advertise those.

Rava, do you expect there to be much uptake up north. Lots of enquries and plenty bookings so far (though today is the Leinster supporters ballot day so its tomorrow we expect to be most busy).

Ah well,
Sure you'll be wearing it after the final whistle anyway so...
Actually, that would be a really good forfeit....

If it makes you feel better Mrs P I'll be wearing red and black for the final (not much white on the Crusaders jersey admittedly)

Re: The Dew Drop Inn Virtual Rugby Pub, Dar es Salaam
I think it was really clever of the ERC to organise colour co-ordinated Semis.
The Dublin one was a White/Red/Black themed affair while in France they went for the Blue/Yellow/White colour scheme!
I sense the hand of a woman!

Good evening All
Hope everyone's all well and good. Going to watch the Varsity rugby (Cardiff Uni v Swansea Uni) in a bit. Might as well, it's on telly and it's rugby.

Only kidding Cari; she was in her normal motor, but there was a lot of helicopters hovering around.
How's you? All good I hope, and the new job seems to be keeping you busy.

Nah MrsP, I just caught it on the local news in the hotel before heading out.
Enjoy the game Cari. Looks like its all systems go for the Welsh Beer Fest on 8th June.
'Wake me up inside' has just come on.
Top tune!

And if As pops in, in case it hasn't featured at the CVI yet, Exeter brewery's 'fraid Knot is a superb beer. I loves my ale, and sometimes you come across a gem; this is one of them.

My friend arrived just as summer ended here last year so I think he has been shocked by the change in the last 2 weeks.
Thankfully we're heading into Winter in Tanzania.

Ha, such as winter is that close to the Equator
I love Dubai for the 7s - just as winter is setting in here, a week there in about 25-30C is just the thing. And rugby to boot
