The Dew Drop Inn Virtual Rugby Pub, Mendoza
First topic message reminder :
Hello and welcome to the Virtual Rugby Pub, a place where you can come in for a sly beverage and discuss whatever's on your mind, or just eavesdrop on the regulars if you fancy a break from all the rugby chat.
The Pub has made its way to Mendoza - the city at the foothills of the Andes and one of the venues for the inaugural Rugby Championship.
The only rule in this pub is one of mutual respect for everyone in it, oh and no tampering with the pictures of Rory McIlroy, Sam Cane, Juan José Imhoff, Eben Etzebeth, Jake Schatz and Rob McCusker.

Cari, I disagree, though they've produced only tripe since, Elephunk is a great album! Also, you don't want a "good" song as a
Power song, you want a strong beat, some builds and a tempo that fits your natural cadence, otherwise you'd stop and listen to the song!
And I like Will.i.am, though I fear he is becoming a caricature of himself. Haven't heard the Script's new album though

Rava.
CJ if you want music for power running try Iron Maiden's Phantom of the Opera. I always associate it with this advert:

See Cari, you've got the idea! I thoroughly dislike Iron Maiden and yet that would make a good power song.
Rava, a power song is a song you have ready for when you are flagging on your run to inject new life into it

We'll agree to disagree on the BEPs. If you like that sort of music, fair enough. I haven't heard that whole album. Does it have the "...tonight's a good night..." song on it? That track was heard so much it did my head in. The irritating thing about William, other than the way he writes his name, is that he's just EVERYWHERE over here, and I'm not really sure why. He might be a hot shot record producer or something, but then there's loads of them around and we never hear from them. He also comes across as a bit of a dipstick on TV as well.

Nah, that's "I've gotta feeling" and it's more recent. Elephunk is the Album with "Where is the Love", back in 2003. He's everywhere because of The Voice I guess. That's certainly why he's on the Script's new album as he was a judge alongside Danny from said band

Nowt wrong with '80s power ballads Mrs Penfro
CJ - yeah I think that's why The Script have very foolishly stuck his song on their album. Honestly, Script fans are not happy with it...in fact i don't think anyone is! I think The Voice has bombed over here too hasn't it?

It all depends which ones Cari...... !! Some are a lot better than others.
Anyway just about to start watching Argentina vs South Africa now. I really hope Argentina get the win in this one, it would really give them a boost.

Re: The Dew Drop Inn Virtual Rugby Pub, Mendoza
lovely day at PyS today, and luckily what looked like it could potentially become a horrific hangover for me cleared up before kick off so all was well. V tired now though, 4hrs sleep is not enough!
Kristian Phillips looked v good in the 1st half, got a great turn of speed on him from a standing start, set up Fenby's second try* and our 3rd and final try was v good too. 9 players involved and finished off my Scott Williams. All three were pretty much length of the pitch tries too.
Shingler looked good when he came on, and Samson Lee and Kirby Myhill looked good in the front row in the 2nd half. Much better 2nd half to 1st half, and loads of positives to take. Plus Scarlets have signed another player today and a TH at that, so looks like our recruitment plan is all coming together.
Hope everyone has had a lovely Saturday?
*I really want fenby to carry this form over to next week. I have picked him to be the top Scarlets try scorer this season....

yesterday/today sure it all blurred into one for me anyways...
nice one on the win. Reckon room for improvement is just about where everybody is right now performance wise, certainly Scarlets are anyways. Loads of positives but still so many basic errors, be interesting to see how Easters manages the stupidity aspect of our game (which lets face it is rather problematic).

Ooo I've had a thought, I've typed up the interview I did with Muller but won't have time to write up a blog on it till Monday/Tuesday I don't think. Do you want me to e-mail it over to you? (this goes out to other Ulster fans too )

Was just passing through, be on my way... in Uni working but have one eye on the rugby. Vamos Los Pumas! 13-3 up at half-time, would be great if they could finish the job.

Ah but Gibbo, so are we!
should be a good one, last couple of seasons our matches, certainly at PyS anyways, have been v close ones. Just hope we don't start the game like we did today, far too slow out the blocks.

Yeah roysh, Rav. We won all six games last year.
It was almost the perfect season. HC Winners. PRO12 Winners (in real terms), SF of the B&I. I wanted a Treble.
But some Welsh and Irish culchies feiced it all up.
This season, I will be mostly wanting REVENGE!

Hi I love you too mate. I look forward to the day you and I can power walk to ballads together.
Guys you will never guess where I got a job offer from yesterday! Only had to turn it down. They wanted someone to fill on for three days a week for 8-10 weeks. Guy in the job is retiring on Tuesday and they won't be able to appoint a replacement until the end of October.
I offered 1.5 to 2 days at a push. He said he would get bCk to me but I don't hold out much hope.
Only feicin BUSHMILLS DISTILLERY.

Oh, and Caerdydd is the sporting capital of Europe.

Actually, I would have no problems if the HC final was held at the MS every year.

Just on that Hound mate, does anyone else think, that the Heino, in order to spread the rugby lurve, should hold their Final outside of the 6 participating countries sometimes?
A Final in Madrid, Lisbon or.... maybe Amsterdam?
Think about it. It would be fantastic for all concerned. It would drag a lot of latent fans in.
We must look outwards, not inwards, if we really want to grow the game we love.
Neil Armstrong just died. 1st Man on the Moon. May he Rest In Space.

Bah, first some Bath-based Frenchman on Come Dine with Me uses Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc to cook with this afternoon, now this
Though Rav, if you get in there, just have them to stop the unneccesary 3rd distillation, and get in the right barrels and they'll have a proper full flavoured whisky in no time*

That would be excellent for starters girl. It is the biggest catchment area in European Rugby, yet to be exploited. I heavily second that emotion.
