Don't understand why Anita hasn't been added to the list yet- going to be getting a lot of game time for us this season.

Or a new first 11.
Let's face it last years pl was the worst in quality and depth in its 20 years existence and only Chelsea fluking their way through every game I the cl prevented an overall disastrous showing on the European stage.
There are a lot of very poor teams in the pl currently due to heavy loading of squads from the rich teams.
I can see a top 2/3 20 points clear of the rest with 10 vying to avoid relegation.

GSC - it would'nt imagine Cleverley and Anderson training with him, they would learn alot of him and he's won the champions league as well.

Maybe not if its a loan deal. Think fergie may be looking for another one in the eye for city, given that they tried to sign him previously. Its still to be seen what he still has to give but he isnt that old.

GSC - Trie nut it wouldn't hurt to add another player in the squad
SpencerClarke - Its a win-win situation, if he performs well, Real Madrid would sell him probably not to us uinless he would want to stay at United permanently and they ( Real Madrid ) would probably get 15-20 million pounds for him.

I'm sorry but even speaking as a united fan I don't want Kaka. If we invest in the midfield it HAS to be a holding midfielder. We don't need Kaka

Re: Big Premier League Signings III
Why wouldnt you want Kaka? he'd probably be the best player at United even at his age.

Re: Big Premier League Signings III
Because we've just signed Kagawa who can play in that exact same position
I'm not doubting his ability, but I'd prefer to give Shinji a chance given some of the performances in preseason from him

Re: Big Premier League Signings III
The rumour is rubbish about Kaka anyways.
Guillem Balague @GuillemBalague
As many of you are asking, is completely false that Manchester United have contacted Madrid about Kaka. Nothing at all in it
And he is not what United need at all even if it were to happen.

pazzini is a good player, very much like Aguero (not on same level yet) and cassano in fairness was a good player at Fiorentina, then had the heart surgery whilst at Milan, only just come back.

Re: Big Premier League Signings III
I remember when Pazzini scored like 35 goals in like 70 apps for Sampdoria only two years ago. Sometimes players just don't suit certain clubs and style of play when they move on, it's ridiculous to label someone a 'lump' when you've probably never seen them play.

Calling someone ridiculous for calling a player a lump- and then following that by guessing that they've never seen him play.

Think Erik Pieters could be linked with Newcastle. He was at the game on Saturday, Tim Krul tweeted that he was visiting him to get a feel for the club. He's currently injured and due a scan on 27th so could be a deadline day deal.

Been linked with us for a year now and would be a solid addition, especially as Santon can play right back and the Debuchy deal appearing to be dead in the water.
Would like another striker though.

Ki Sung Yeung off to Swansea for £6 Million. Think that's a good piece of business by Swansea, especially when they sold Allen for 15 Million.

Re: Big Premier League Signings III
Yeah think he will do well for them, more suited to the EPL. He's the best passer of the ball at Celtic and has a good strike with both feet. The better pitches will suit him. He had a good Olympics, ran the show for Korea.

Re: Big Premier League Signings III
I agree, Ki is a good signing. Very quick but good technically, will slot in well at the Swans. I always said, that 15m will do wonders for Swansea as now will Laudrop as the man at the helm, they can sign genuinely talented players for decent money who they couldn't sign before.

Re: Big Premier League Signings III
Ki is a top signing, the best footballi playing central midfielder in the SPL by a mile, £6.5m bid potentially rising to £8m, Swansea in this current market would get an absolute steal, Celtic haven't ruled out selling to a higher bidder and from what was said earlier they expect more bids too
Two great feet, great vision, good pace and loves a pass, 50/60/70 yard passes with ease, excellent finisher too
He's been known to dwell on the ball and isn't perhaps as strong as he could be but is a helluva lot stronger than he was 2 years ago
I'd love him to stay, he's my favourite midfielder behind Joe Ledley, but I also want him to progress as a footballer and for that he has to leave, at Celtic now we have to buy young talent, nurture them then sell them at a profit, seeing players get big money EPL moves can only strengthen the clubs case when trying to entice the next young talent

Based on first game only:
Cazorla - Hit
Giroud - Flop
E. Hazard - Hit
Kagawa - Maybe
Oscar - Maybe
Pod - Hit
Best signing of week 1?
Hazard, Cazorla or Michu

Re: Big Premier League Signings III
It's a bit pointless calling people hit, maybe or flops based on one game or a cameo appearance of half and hour. Giroud only had 25 minutes and of course everyone will just pinpoint his miss and therefore call him a flop
Kagawa was fantastic in my opinion and was clearly United's best player last night. Fantastic vision, passing and technically superb. Created a few chances and the throughball for Welbeck was excellent. Top player for Dortmund over the last two seasons and is certainly no 'maybe'.

Dito a la Kagawa, has really good vision and will only get better as he adjusts to the league's pace etc.
Also a big mention for Michu who has looked the business in Pre-season. Could be Swansea's most important player this season. Lets hope the sell on clause isn't something stupid.

The whole post said based on one game, now I know that you might not like it but unfortunately others judge based on one game. And yes after every game I shall be updating it so you can roll your eyes as much as you like.
I forgot Van Persie - Floppity flop flop
How out of place did he look, United didn't look like they wanted to pass to him
