Albion will sign either Martin Olsson or Oviedo, or another left back and hopefully keep Jonas Olsson and Peter Odemwingie.
Re: Big Premier League Signings III
Thjink Fulham will do well to avoid any interest coming in for Dembele, was brilliant against us on Saturday

Norwich are after a striker maybe two. Mohammed Abdoulle (spelling) is believed to be one target and a Premier League striker as well.

Re: Big Premier League Signings III
Debuchy deal to Newcastle is all dependent upon Lille's champions league qualification against Copenhagen. Our full backs are embarrasing and he's a must in my opinion.
What's everyone's thoughts on the Sinclair to City deal? Like the Moses deal, I do not understand this whatsoever. Adam Johnson is by far better than Sinclair in every way shape and form. Of course Sinclair must know he's going to be on the bench and his career is going to stagnate but obviously being at a club like City, more than doubling your wages and being closer to your girlfriend from Coronation street was the decisive factor.
Anyone else think Giroud is appaling. I don't like to judge players quickly but this guy's first touch and finishing looks more than dodgy, expect Arsene to strengthen

Re: Big Premier League Signings III
I think Debuchy will be a deadline day purchase if Lille go out of the CL. It's shaping up to be an interesting day, that's for sure.
Sinclair to City makes no sense. Johnson is by far superior to Sinclair and, like Moses, he'll be lucky if he gets any game time at all. If he'd gone to Spurs or Arsenal, that would have been a great move. Maybe City needed a portable bench warmer?
I've not watched Arsenal live yet but it's hard to judge any player at Stoke (also it is very early in the season as above said). I said it before and I'll say it again; Giroud is not an Arsenal player. They need a striker.

I do wonder what these Clubs are thinking sometimes. Moses, Sinclair and now M'vila. Why do Spurs need another central holding midfielder when they've got Parker & Sandro already? They've made an insulting offer of £11m for Willian aswell which was obviously going to be rejected seeing as Chelsea were interested in him a while back for offers in the region of £20m. I do worry for Spurs under AVB.
Also it looks like Newcastle are indeed going to take the bait and offer a ridiculous £17m for Carroll. Quite disappointed.

Am I the only one who thinks people are really jumping the gun with Chelsea?
They've played well for sure, but Chelsea always seem to start the season well and then the problems kick in. I don't think they'll win the Premier League and will be out of the race before March I reckon.

With Hazard having won 2 penalties in 2 games and Turner and Bassong giving away 2 between them, Hazard being destroyed in the area seems a good bet

Re: Big Premier League Signings III
We have given away 2 pens in 2 games this season.
At the start of last season, it was 5 in 5 games at the start of the season. I hope it doesn't happen again lol
Also Norwich have apparantly been linked with Park Chu Young of Arsenal, and John Guidetti of Man City today, but I think it is all twitter crap

Ok Chris Hughton has ruled out signing Curtis Davies, Lucas Biglia and Michael Owen, but has said he is chasing a striker - maybe Guidetti.

Re: Big Premier League Signings III
No the Norwich guy on twitter has said that. Pretty much correct all the time.
And I doubt we would be after Davies now we bought in Bassong. Biglia I think was a bit out of our league, he wants European football. As for Owen, we couldn't get near the wages he would want, and quite frankly, he doesn't fit into the Norwich mould

I would like to see us sign Guidetti. It's a bit of a risk, but he would be eager to prove himself in the Premier League, and did well on loan last season at Feyenoord?

How none of the big clubs have put in an offer on Falcao this summers amazes me, Atletico are riddled in debt and he is just a goalscoring machine.

Guidetti reminds me of Tevez. Apparently he's quite injury prone though.

Fulham have accepted a bid from Spurs for Dembele. Wonder what that means for Van Der Vaart. Sigurdsson and Dembele both play in the CAM with Van Der Vaart linked with a move back to German club Hamburg.

Southampton have agreed terms for the signing of Zambia striker Emmanuel Mayuka from Young Boys on a five-year deal
Not sure why they have signed another striker? Surely they need to sort there defence and GK out. But I signed this guy on FIFA and he is pure pace abuse

Because they don't have nearly enough money to make their defense average so they might as well go down scoring.

I wouldn't mind Walcott, would certainly prefer him to Sturridge. His pace would serve us well. I don't think the side needs a crossing winger if Rodgers isn't going to utilise Carroll as Borini and Suarez are both pretty useless in the air, so Rodgers may as well sign more direct wingers, knows how to play in a possession football side and would be cheaper than usual.

I'd prefer whoever signs walnut to use him as a striker. His pace makes him a genuine threat and he has a heck of a strike on him.
Re: Big Premier League Signings III
We had a bid rejected form Genk for Christian Benteke.
We could do with a left back to get Warnock out the door.
Hutton can join him, he's behind Lowton, Lichaj and even Herd.

Arsenal have offered him an improved contract at £75k a week, which for his 'return' is probably about £15k too much.

I think Dembele is a fantastic player, technically gifted and has a huge amount of creative play to his game. However, the thing which annoys me about him is his goalscoring ability. 5 league goals for Fulham for an attacking midfield player who is costing £15m in my opinion is no bargain. I'm hoping that this step up can make Dembele go on to the next level and this move can give him confidence to score more goals. Under AVB though his career could go anywhere.

Not a bad side but still not a guaranteed top 4 in my opinion.
Glad Wenger and Arsenal want rid of Walcott, simply not good enough but if they get anywhere near £15m for him they will be laughing.
