First topic message reminder :

Hello and welcome to the Virtual Rugby Pub, a place where you can come in for a sly beverage and discuss whatever's on your mind, or just eavesdrop on the regulars if you fancy a break from all the rugby chat.

The Pub has made its way to The Patch - a tiny rugby union* community nestled in the Dandenong Ranges east of Melbourne in the week before the AFL Grand Final.

The only rule in this pub is one of mutual respect for everyone in it, oh and no tampering with the pictures of Willie Falloon, Joel Conlon, Peter Murchie, Lewis Jetta, Lance "Buddy" Franklin and Frazier Climo.

Cheers PJ. I shall watch the game later on the Premiership website, just relieved that we've got off the mark at last.

The result from the ref and the TMO was that it was a knock on and a scrum to O's, when it really should have been a penalty try for us and a yellow for the O's. Not sure there's a lot of people who could argue with that.

That was definitely a penalty-try. No question.

But O's fully deserved that game Dreamer. They wanted it more. And Scarlets forgot to play the game that won them the 1st 3 in-a-row. You said they might bottle it in a derby. Well they did. That's a mindset they will have to overcome.

Having said that, I wouldn't like to be playing Scarlets next week. I'd expect a strong reaction from them.

Agreed fully, and I've not said any different Smile

It's not so much that we forgot to play our game Gibbo, in that the O's didn't allow us the posession to do so. At 71 mins it was 9-9 and we'd missed a bag full of chances with kicks at goal. Them's the breaks.

Ah that's lousy pal. You were so looking forward to it and all. I never get headaches either. But on the rare occasion I do, I think I'm having a brain hemorrhage. MrsG gets really bad migraine sometimes and she calls me a wimp. Says if I got the pain she gets, she reckons Id top meself. Probably would. Laugh

Hope it eases darlin. Maybe you can still get out. Hug

Glaws should have this now. Wasps just knocked on near the Glaws line. Wasps are getting stronger. Ooooh chance for Wasps here on 80 mins.... pushing hard for the draw.

Turned over. Glaws win 29-22. Fair play to Wasps. They never let up, they will be well safe this year and may have a bash at the play-offs. Well done Glaws on their 1st win.

Pretty annoyed with Fox's decision to call play back when Simpson took a quick tap from a ruck penalty and 'scored'. Simpson was no more than 1m from the offence, and adjacent to it.

I have just seen Quins take a similar tap and not be called back.

Us fans just want consistency with these decisions.

I suspect the speech was good from the announcer at the AP, but the commentator was babbling all over it so I don't know what was said. Minute silence impeccably observed again though. Could hear a pin drop there. No SUFTUM though.

All true Rav. We look rusty still. Hoping for more fluency in the 2nd-half bud. But Edinburgh are well up for this game. Dunno why they didnt play Visser. Hes worth a try a game. Min.
