First topic message reminder :

Hello and welcome to the Virtual Rugby Pub, a place where you can come in for a sly beverage and discuss whatever's on your mind, or just eavesdrop on the regulars if you fancy a break from all the rugby chat.

The Pub has made its way to The Patch - a tiny rugby union* community nestled in the Dandenong Ranges east of Melbourne in the week before the AFL Grand Final.

The only rule in this pub is one of mutual respect for everyone in it, oh and no tampering with the pictures of Willie Falloon, Joel Conlon, Peter Murchie, Lewis Jetta, Lance "Buddy" Franklin and Frazier Climo.

We made that very hard work. Specially when they were down to 13. Rusty.

Also think Joe took a few chances taking so many key players off. He's thinking HC and the Irish Internationals PRO12 time. Just about paid off. Its a hard one to juggle with and still win. guinness

Really happy with Carr especially & Macken. Our Glas(not hour-glass) has an eye for a player. He may make it yet.

For Glas. Ale

Impeccable observance of the minutes silence at Thomond Park. Couldn't help but think that most of the Munster players would have been talking to Nevin Spence just last Friday.

Evening pub guinness .

Has Ozzy been in bouncing around yet? I'm trying to avoid him after the latest installment of the soap that is known as "Bath are Bollix".

I'm going to have a quiet pint of guinness in the corner, don't mind me.

Was at Stade Mayol for Toulon v Castres yesterday. What a place and what an atmosphere. Probably the best I've experienced in sport. Toulon look a fine side and if Laporte gets more discipline from the forwards I really fancy them for the HC as well as the French championship.

Bore da pawb! Hope everyone's well?

I had a lovely night, there was an amazing ska band playing and I ended up kipping over my aunt and uncles. Had an ace morning playing with their crazy crazy dog (I really really miss not having one at home), and now about to head off to Sospan in Llanelli for a family meal for my Grandad's birthday. Proper tidy place it is Smile

Have lovely days all Hug

Morning All coffee

Dreamer - have a good day with the family. Smile

Prop & Penfro - congrats to the Sarries. Onwards and upwards... king

It definitely feels like autumn today. It's grey, wet and windy out and I've put the heating on now. Good excuse to stay in and rest I suppose. I'm going to watch the All Ireland Football Final later online. Might watch Russell Howards' Right Here Right Now stand up show again as well on the iPlayer. I watched it last night and I was crying laughing. Highly recommend it if you want a good laugh.

Morning all, coffee cuppa

seanmichaels, those games have an electric atmosphere with plenty of flag waving... constantly, don't they? Love it. OK Who won? Toulon?

Sounds like a great night out dreamer. A ska band? What luck! It's happy music but I can only take a few hours of it. Wink

Cari, is that All Ireland Final the real thing or a replay? I'm watching NZ v Pak in the T20 match. England - India on later. (too late for me; starts midnight) Lots of rain there yesterday. Crazy monsoonal rain too. I've never seen covers cover the whole outfield. Erm

I had a busy morning putting all the dead hedge? I cut off last weekend into the big green bins. It had completely dried out like hay... but was bloody scratchy stuff. It made a really nice crunchy sound when you stamped down on it. Like munching cereal. Very Happy Load off my mind.

Also washed the car. The water evaporated as soon as the sponge left the surface. But the air wasn't too hot at all. It's going to be a dry and hot summer. Like the old days.

Yep. Behind your seat you get a program a bit like a tabloid paper here. When Toulon got the bonus point try 16,000 papers took to the air and it was some sight. Bit of a fire hazard given 10,000 Frenchman had a Gaulioses on at the time. 33 -12 to Toulon.

Awh Prop you'll love it when he's on about people from the West Country (in a good way - he's from Bristol, and he loves talking about them).

Breaker - no, it's the live one between Mayo v Donegal. Throw in's at 3:30pm our time. It was the hurling that went to a replay next weekend. The Dubs are in the minors final, so I'm hoping I get to see that too.

Afternoon all, haven't been on this week, an interesting time. I read that Soctty is to havbe a procedure, stay strong my good man and you will come through it, the little fella will be by your side!

Parents are back from a week away first time they have gotten away from the family by themselves in ten years but unfortunately my sister had a seizure earlier on today as thery were flying. She is in good care with qualified carers but I hope they don't feel too bad about it.

Thomond - that's a shame about your sister. It's just bad luck it happened when it did. I'm sure she's got great care being taken of her though. Smile

Meanwhile, the Dubs are about to become All Ireland Minor Football champs!! Very Happy

Absolutely Cari just one of those things that happens, no one is at fault like.

Congrats to the Dubs haven't been watching it to be honest, mightn't get to see the big one, probably wouldn't be too bothered about to be honest.

Sorry to hear that about your sister T, hope she's okay Hug

Had a wonderful time at Sospan, just a really nice day out. And a bonus is that I've gotten home in time to catch the last half hour of the cycling! Excellent day so far Smile

Nice one to As on the Chiefs' win, sounded like a tough one!
