The Dew Drop Inn Virtual Rugby Pub, Jersey
First topic message reminder :
Hello and welcome to the Virtual Rugby Pub, a place where you can come in for a sly beverage and discuss whatever's on your mind, or just eavesdrop on the regulars if you fancy a break from all the rugby chat.
The pub has made its way to the island of Jersey, where the newly promoted hme side is off the bottom of the Championship.
The only rule in this pub is one of mutual respect for everyone in it, oh and no tampering with the pictures of Glen Jackson, Dan Parks and Matt Banahan above the bar.

Hey, having a fantasy is healthy, having two is complicated, having more than two is a Bath fan...
Good result for Celtic then, does that give them a good chance of qualifying from their group?

Story PJ?
If they get at least a draw in Lisbon, they are through.

That would be the first time in ages wouldn't it? Don't they normally go out at the group stage? Fair play to de hoopers.
All good here pal, exchanged a few texts with No.2 earlier, he was showing off his pics from his visit to the Holiest of Holies in Antrim, barrels of the stuff there was, just sitting there, all full and proper purdy. Then he sent me a pic of like a bookcase, but instead of books it was just full of Bushmills, bottle after bottle, after bottle.
I tried texting back but I couldn't do it one-handed.
How's yer bad self?

Did you discuss how Dragons are likely to stuff Bath this weekend? I know there's an inevitability about it, but you should discuss it.

Anyway, managed a longer run tonight, but calves are tight now. I'll sleep well in a minute.

It wouldn't surprise me if Dragons come away with the points. I'm in Block C of the Wadsworth, Row J. Make my day sand tell me you're nowhere near there.

Thatchers West Terrace Peej. Not a chance will we win. You beat us by 40 at RP last year and we were a bit better then. Our backrow is guff this weekend.

Re: The Dew Drop Inn Virtual Rugby Pub, Jersey
I'm not sure Bath's will be any better Rev, Louw, Fearns, Skirving are all likely to be out and Gold seems to have a problem playing Mercer and Ovens.
The back row he put out against LW was just bizarre and the entire team looks confused and fragile at times, it's like watching 15 schizophrenics - or France.
I've decided to get the train down so I can indulge in some I'll be landing at Bath Spa at around 12.30 and heading back out just after 7.00 so I'll probably get most of the Ireland game in.

Bore da pawb / good morning all, it's weekend eve!
Hound, good work on Launchbury, he looks a real talent.
I have fond memories of Bath from last season, getting nicely merry on pints of Landlord in the pub (don't ask me its name) while most of the regs were at the Rec for Bath v Leinster. Then PJ came in after the match and it all went downhill from there...

To the Dragons naturally
Peej, I think ours will be a bit lightweight, which on top of powder puff front five, we will struggle. I am genuinely not too bothered by the result though, I just want to enjoy the day. I'll be in Bath around the same time and will be leaving at 19:30.

Wow Ulster v Leinster on 21st Dec is pretty much sold out already! Tickets only went on sale this morning! Last year there were still tickets available on the day of the game!
Couldn't get through to the box office for Prom tickets so just managed to get Aquinas end ones on line!
jeebus lads time for a bigger stadium!

They haven't released the full details of the accident involving Bradley Wiggins, but if he a) wasn't wearing hi-vis clothing and b) didn't have a light on his bike, I wouldn't have much sympathy for him.

Well that's even worse, isn't it? You look before you pull out onto the road, but you don't expect there to be a cyclist steaming up on the pavement!

That's the first time I've actually seen that, Pete. I suppose these days it would be Buck Shelford who'd be punished for retaliating.
Huw Richards is the uncle of one of the current Welsh internationals, I'm sure.
By the way, if anyone's got three grand spare and is feeling generous, I'd quite like to have this:

Next two home games for Ulster (both in December, versus Northampton Saints and Leinster) are sell outs. Cannot wait! Nothing better.

Watched the squad announcement earlier on. Strangely enough it didn't end my world, just made me excited for the game this Saturday.
So I've just found out there is rugby in Colwyn Bay over the next two weekends. That might not sound too special but it is in fact 4 full international Tests. I'm heading next weekend to see Tonga v USA and Canada v Russia. All for just £26.

Have to tell you this one as it made me laugh my head off this morning - traffic moving slowly through Truro at around 8 am with both lanes crawling. Anyways a VW Golf estate goes passed me and (as you do) I look over and there's this large youngish woman with bleached blonde hair and an evil look staring at me (Jo Brand type). I thought nothing as she went passed and then saw on the back of her car - DOG ON BOARD - I laughed my fecking head off - why does she have to advertise it

Evening Pub.
Bit quiet in here considering the Irish team's out. Or has that put people off? I'm just glad Tommy's in at 14...
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OjGoJFgI71I
I wasn't sure about Heaslip as captain, but I'm not sure who the alternative would be cause the top candidates are all injured.
Back in Wales, am not surprised J-Ro's off to France next season. Can't blame him really. He's going to miss seeing me in Tescos though...
