First topic message reminder :

Hello and welcome to the Virtual Rugby Pub, a place where you can come in for a sly beverage and discuss whatever's on your mind, or just eavesdrop on the regulars if you fancy a break from all the rugby chat.

The pub has made its way to Colwyn Bay, where the Tier 2 AIs are currently taking place.

The only rule in this pub is one of mutual respect for everyone in it, oh and no tampering with the pictures of Bob Scott and Malele Kunavore above the bar.

Cari,

It was many things but "Well" done.

It was terrible.

We lost more lineouts than we won I think. I know we only have one second row but...

Still, you know what they say. If you can play badly and still win...

Mind you, if you can play as badly as we did tonight and still win....

Well a win's a win even if it's an ugly one.

Baby O's on in the front row now and they're bugggered basically. Welcome to the Big Bad World of Pro12 rugby Mr Thomas!

Oh Cari. It was awful.

The poor Treviso kicker missed a last minute, extremely kickable penalty.

Once again, for the second week in a row I don't feel we won so much as we somehow managed to fail to lose!

But, as you say, the table will show one more in the win column and 4 more points but...

What's going on at Murrayfield now?

O's getting battered MrsP. Our youngsters are struggling...Morgs, bless him was so close at getting a second try but fell short. The second half territory has been something stupid like 94 to our 6%. Our discipline is letting us down as usual as well. Crying or Very sad 20-13 now.

Ridiculously, speechlessly, massively proud. Cry

Bath 21-18 Quins

Bath played them all tonight and deserved to win.

Note to TMO or whatever yer called these days, in order to be lost forward, the ball has to break contact with your hands before going dead. OK #

You don't have to "be in control" there does not have to be "downward pressure" hand on ball, ball on try line, hand never losing contact with ball = a try, Quins lucky to leave with a point on that decision.

TMO looked a bit old for a schoolboy too.

Goodnight, and I love you all. Yahoo

Just read back from my last post. Congratulations Notch and Rodders.

Had a really hard week on Salisbury Plain. I don't think it stopped raining too often and the whole place we worked around was churned up. Probably the hardest week of my life. Nothing worse than having wet/damp uniform on for 5 days straight.

Surely you're not using Stonehenge for scrummaging practice again, Rev?

Ah, of course Army drills. What's with all this rain... is that normal in those parts this time of year?

Stonehenge was a major disappointment to be fair. We passed that. I don't know what the crack is with the rain, but that place is awful when the wind and rain kick off. Dropping tents in it on Thursday was a nightmare.

It was just smaller than I imagined and a bit something of nothing. Certainly wouldn't pay to see it.

Now watching Freddie Flintoff from Lords to the Ring. Some great programming by Sky this week.

Bit rubbish that this first game isn't on in HD. I'm sure Bargain Hunt looks good in it mind.

Well well well. Some very interesting results so far. Well done Ireland - chuffed that Tommy Two Tries made an appearance. But what about Italy losing by just three points to Oz?! Shocked They easily could've equalized too, but the penalty kick was missed. Watching the Scotland game now.

Cari.

So proud.

Of the whole team but our Craig did well enough. Moment of the match for me? The entire team nearly killing the wee fella when he scored his first "proper" try for his country.

5 tries and no cap was just silly.

Just waiting for someone to say, "Sure, they did okay, but it was only..."

Very Happy
