The pub has made its way to Dubai, host city for the upcoming round of the IRB Rugby World 7s.

Visitors are reminded to dress sensibly and carry their working-'holiday' permit with them at all times and if possible; engage in their sinful drinking habits within the smoky confines of the underground "English Pub". We have more big screens than you could ever dream of...

If you need to go for a swim at the beach - application forms for towels and umbrellas are available at the bar.

The only rule in this pub is one of mutual respect for everyone in it, oh and no tampering with the pictures of Ricky Ponting, Bradley Davies, Andrew Hore and Craig Gilroy above the bar.

Aye Penfro. I boycotted the game yesterday. Nothing against the players, I just don't think the game should've gone ahead, and I got no surprises when I read the score and about Leepee's injury. At least he's OK now.

...and as I typed that, Tommy's appeared...must've gone for a brew I think I saw him do a cheeky high-ish tackle though. Thankfully if my eyes didn't deceive me only a small section of the crowd booed.

Oh they tried! They gave away the most penalties and that cost them a LBP for the Scarlets, but even though it wasn't pretty, they still won it.

I'm very confused because we're going to Franklins Gardens after three poor away perfromances with a fairly unsettled team, but also on the back of 12 successive wins. What do you make of that?

Of Ryan Caldwell!

Flyin' Ryan is a fan favourite down The Rec MrsP, but we've seen prescious little of him this season due to injury, I'm sure he'll play his part after Christmas when Bath go on their regular Lazarus run.

But I'll pass on the paint, ta.

Unless he's changed PJ any portrayal of Ryan would have to include him with his big mitts on the ball 10 seconds after the ref had called,

"Ruck! Hands away!!!!"

He had one fantastic game for us in his last season and I really thought he had turned a massive corner but he didn't seem to kick on from it.

Was he doing well? Still giving away penalties like sweeties at Christmas? Is his contract up this year or does he have another?
