Hello and welcome to the Virtual Rugby Pub, a place where you can come in for a sly beverage and discuss whatever's on your mind, or just eavesdrop on the regulars if you fancy a break from all the rugby chat.

The pub has made its way to Dubai, host city for the upcoming round of the IRB Rugby World 7s.

Visitors are reminded to dress sensibly and carry their working-'holiday' permit with them at all times and if possible; engage in their sinful drinking habits within the smoky confines of the underground "English Pub". We have more big screens than you could ever dream of...

If you need to go for a swim at the beach - application forms for towels and umbrellas are available at the bar.

The only rule in this pub is one of mutual respect for everyone in it, oh and no tampering with the pictures of Ricky Ponting, Bradley Davies, Andrew Hore and Craig Gilroy above the bar.

I wish I was going to mogliano. Their supporters got in touch with ours to set up a big meet and a game of touch on the Friday. They sound great craic.

Last night in Vegas. Bit of work and then some tea, then up early to load my plane and begin the long flight home.

This is Mogliano's first season in the ECC, and they are enjoying it. It's a wonderful experience for them, and I'm sure the Dragons fans who make the trip will be given a warm welcome. I would recommend they get up to the ground early and enjoy the day.

What you said above about their fans...hearing things like that confirms that rugby is a special game. And still a game where players and supporters are at the core of its being. Long may that continue.

I'm off down west soon. Going to see The Old Girl and also finalise my Belfast trip. I'm uber excited about that. I bet Tommy is too. The only sad thing is I'll miss all rugby this weekend cause TOG has no Sky and her PC isn't set up to watch it online. Ah well...I'll just have to keep an eye on FB to see the scores.

waiting for the weeuns to come out of school was very cold and very wet. Thermometer says 5 degrees but it feels a good bit chillier than that.

My trip to Belfast is all sorted!!!!!!!!!!!!! Arriving on the Thursday and going home on the Sunday. I'm staying in the city centre. Really looking forward to exploring....and maybe bumping into some special locals

I've only ever sacked one person, but it was my call and to be honest after I did it, it was a blydi relief. She started arguing with my reasons and all of my guilt and compassion evaporated as I realised that I was doing precisely the right thing.

If they've been naughty, then surely they've had warnings and must have some expectation of it coming...it's worse if you're making them redundant through no fault of their own - which isn't sacking really.

Absolutely!

Ah I took him on for a government back to work scheme about 4 months ago. He was successful for a temp role for our payroll year end.

But he is just lovely with the customers but he isn't up to speed with the technical knowledge side of things. just isn't grasping it. We are about to head into a mental spell and customers will eat him if he isn't up to scratch.

I have managed to arrange to keep him on until Christmas doing admin work etc.
