Hello and welcome to the Virtual Rugby Pub, a place where you can come in for a sly beverage and discuss whatever's on your mind, or just eavesdrop on the regulars if you fancy a break from all the rugby chat.

The pub has made its way to Dubai, host city for the upcoming round of the IRB Rugby World 7s.

Visitors are reminded to dress sensibly and carry their working-'holiday' permit with them at all times and if possible; engage in their sinful drinking habits within the smoky confines of the underground "English Pub". We have more big screens than you could ever dream of...

If you need to go for a swim at the beach - application forms for towels and umbrellas are available at the bar.

The only rule in this pub is one of mutual respect for everyone in it, oh and no tampering with the pictures of Ricky Ponting, Bradley Davies, Andrew Hore and Craig Gilroy above the bar.

MrsP - yeah are they are usually a load of twaddle. Also, some of those guys might not even be available given injuries. And Tommy does not belong in an 11 shirt!

The West is good MrsP. I'm very relaxed, and have posted the last of my Xmas parcels, so I can relax even more. Xmas shopping/posting done for another year. I'm going home on Sunday to have a day at home before work on Tuesday.

You could always turn up at the training ground at Newforge.

It's very easy to get lost near there when just going for a wee walk.

I thought it was deliberate and therefore a penalty and yellow card to be honest, as if he hadn't done it in all likelihood Connacht would have had an excellent opportunity for a second try.

I thought so too, but I'm watching it in an etchasketch quality link and wasn't sure if it was just an overreaction. It was some effort to get it to touch from there.

He's too far infield to have accidentally knocked it on into touch. It would only go that far if deliberately projected.

I think the ref had decided to blow up for halftime anyhow. Connacht hard done by I think. They are chucking the kitchen sink at this one. Love it.

Biarritz are lucky to only be 4 points down.
