Agreed... but im not that fussed.
He wasn't that great last year... has really regressed in the last 2 years as age catches up with him. He is a walking penalty... however I'd still keep him for less dosh because he still knows what he is doing and can be a good leader

So the FA pool now includes Woodson and Freeney. Imagine Asomugha and Michael Turner will join them

I'd take Woodson to the niners as a nickel corner though, not at safety. The guy is one of my favourite players ever. He played corner like a safety and would love that range and playmaking in ninerland

D'Quan Bowers (spelt wrong I know) has been arrested on charge of carrying a gun through an airport. If convicted the minimum sentence is 3.5 years. The minimum.

It happened prior to the draft last year, hence why he plummeted down the draft boards, but everywhere I read about it they thought he would get off.
Gonna be charged mid april, which puts us in a sticky situation.
Talib seemingly has to be signed now, but with his injury issues I don't particularly want us too

Even so it was still a stupid thing to do (slightly worse due to the timing it probably cost him a fair few million), but we've also had two guys try to take guns into airports, a tonne of drink driving issues one of which caused a players death.

Oh yeah some of them are beyond belief stupid! It's quite embarassing really
He could be in jail for 6 and a half years could Dennard.
So our secondary which already sucked, loses one of the bright spots. Brilliant

Sherman better than Revis? I've never seen Revis been beat up by anyone like Sherman was with Roddy White.

Even Sheldon Brown is better than Sherman. I'd even go as far as to say Jayron Hosley is on par with Sherman.

Revis' stretch from 2008 to 2011 or so, every single season has been better than Shermans 2012 campaign.

Now its fair to say you'd take Sherman now given his youth and uncertainty over Revis' knee, but he absolutely is not better than Revis.

Sherman isn't a shutdown corner. Revis is simples. Would you take Lynch over Peterson because of big injury history, no

Re: Ongoing NFL discussion thread
Slight difference.
1. Sherman is probably the closest thing to one after Revis.
2. Ask that question a year ago, rather than after AD defied belief. Suffice to say, not everybody comes back from a big knee injury to win MVP.
