So people can just go round picking up the ball deliberately and only get a yellow?

If you can explain how RVW going for a highball outside the area, with his back to goal and 2 defenders behind him is a clear goalscoring opportunity, then it's a red

From what I've seen if RVW was a yard from goal it wouldn't be a goalscoring opportunity.

Solid point yesterday at Fulham. Poor first half, much better 2nd half. Anichebe did ok to be fair to him, Amalfitano looks a good player. Get Sessengeon into that side and we should have a lot more threat.

Morrison lovely little pass there too, footwork nice n all. Get him Wilshere and Barkley in a midfield trio for England in the future and the touch and vision in midfield would be worth watching games for.

Another dire game, weather didn't help but was disappointed, especially with Southampton. Expect a tight 0-0 as well next Sunday at 4pm.

I would suggest you may enjoy this new Stoke more than you think. Much to Nick's chagrin im sure, but Hughes is getting them into an evolution. They dont just lump, they have more intent on mixing it rather than being just physical, and they have proven to be much better this term. Could see this being a real test for Norwich and vice versa as Stoke deal with the width of Redmond and Snodgrass, whilst hopefully RVW proves a little more effective.

Well that's two 0 - 0s Hammers have clocked up so far in our away games. Horrendous miss at the end prevented us sneaking all the points.

Re: Barclays Premier League 13/14 Thread
‘Neither Luis or Daniel will be the main man. This isn’t the type of club for egos. It’s a club where players get told where to play,’ he told the Sunday Mirror.
‘We don’t mollycoddle them here. They are all expected to come in and do a job.'
‘If they want to be the superstar, if they want to be the individual, then they can go elsewhere. It’s about the team here. We know what strikers are like, but I don’t think it’s an issue with either Daniel or Luis.'
ORLY?

Re: Barclays Premier League 13/14 Thread
I'd say tonights game was one, if not the best, so far. It has been a poor start, there was a stat saying that tonights game was s the first Premier League game this season to see more than two goals before half-time. I think it will improve but the league is so tight now, you could argue its the tightest and closest its ever been, any club from 12+ could get relegated, it's ridiculous. La Liga doesnt have this, barcelona or real can win by four or five against 75% of the rest of the division, just not going to happen in the EPL now, except for the odd occassion obviously. I'm expecting quite a few 0-0's really and the united/city game could be one of those, with it being early on in the season, moyes wont wanna lose n neither will manuel in their first derby.Ent wrote:4 games in, anyone else think the pl is a bit rubbish?

I think Snodgrass is one of the few players in danger of being dropped for the next game, not a great start to the season for Snoddy, missed some of pre-season has affected him I thinkFreekShow wrote:Put £2.50 on it. Now I need either him or Fer to deliver in your next match. I'm not giving up

With mourinho Chelsea are going to play for a draw or a 1-0 in every big game, city look poor and pelligrini has hinted at the same mindset.
United are terrible and inflexible under moyes.
I've no interest in low quality exciting games - can see this being the season with my least ever matches watched. Very few individuals worth watching either.
