I read the other day that rio and vidic hadn't played 3 games together in a week for nearly 5 years- no wonder they looked out of sorts during the city game.

Is Moyes out of his depth? Still to early to answer that one, but United (by the sounds of it) have been really bad today. Now City losing as well. Arsenal have a fantastic chance to get to top spot this evening.

This ref is taking the urine. Hull have got away with a blatant handball, and they've been outplayed all day.

we couldn't refuse going up.GSC wrote:No offense Myst, but I kinda think Palace are happy enough to get up and take the cash.
However we all knew this would happen.
We are doing it the prudent way and hopefully be back in a few years with a much better squad..
But losing is tough and we have to try and get 25 plus pts. No point accepting that we have zero chance

Carrick & Fellaini are stagnant, offering nothing going forward. Rooney has to do multiple jobs of creativity & goals. Wingers are just embarrassing. United are so open, defence is getting old now too. Big problems for United. WBA deserve to win this without doubt & I hope they do.

That's 4 out of the 5 title contenders slipping up today, Arsenal still to come though. Could be the closest season in PL history. As a neutral, I find that enthralling.

If Arsenal could just take three points... Never been so vested in a team I dont actually support since that time I watched Asian table tennis drunk after my ex dumped me....

Re: Barclays Premier League 13/14 Thread
I said at the start of the season Moyes would be out of his depth. He hasn't got the experience of managing a top 6 side and his just walked in to the biggest job in the country, however I think the Glaziers will give him time. The glowing reference he got from SAF will keep him in the job.
