Re: Barclays Premier League 13/14 Thread
Moyes must really start to be feeling to pressure. Losing to Man City away is one thing, but losing home games against teams like West Brom is really going to start turning the fans against him.
As for City, I always thought it was a mistake to get rid of Mancini. With the squad they have, they really should be winning the league at a canter. One strong display every four games isn't good enough.
Arsenal really have to go for it now. A real chance for them to make a statement.

You know you're in the mire when you've got Garth Crooks giving you pointers.
The way today has panned out I wouldn't be surprised to see Swansea pull off an upset.

Get in there! Superb, love that. Come on you Baggies!
Clarke has found a formation and personnel that works. Amalfitano could be the signing of the season if he keeps this up!
United very poor, we could have won by more goals. Dream-land.

Re: Barclays Premier League 13/14 Thread
Like I have been saying for weeks, United look poor because they failed to buy top quality players in the summer.

Buzzing about the result.
You have to beat the teams around you, anything else is a bonus.
We had a big bonus today.
Thats 2 of the top sides we have beaten this season, could/should have got something at stamford bridge.
Promising.
Need to back it up against Hull next week end.

You have some great players. I never really saw benteke as being the difference. but he will add to your team when he comes back. The fact is you have created a lot over the last couple of years- you have just been flaky, like so many teams are, you need to just keep up the momentum and your players need to realise they are actually very good!
I will allways look at you as a good team and its about time you pushed for europe again.
My friend is a massive fan so I do follow your performances a lot

There's being out of your depth and there's being clueless.
Really at this stage of the season having only 2 wins and struggling to create from open play never mind score - something has to be done rapidly.
With the players united have it think they've been below the minimum level I expected.

I think United are too tight knit to get rid of moyes so quickly- I am sure a meeting with moyes and ferguson will happen pretty soon.
Hopefully SAF can give him some advice he will take notice of.
Just imagine this team had lost rooney!!
It beggars belief tbh

united's defence is too slow and their attacking central midfielders are not good enough.

Re: Barclays Premier League 13/14 Thread
Players like young, fletcher, nani and valencia have been made to look good by a legendary manager.
THE club needs to understand they aren't that good and start actually playing the talent they have at their disposal and yes they need to buy players in the window.
They do look so slow. Man u last season looked really fragile in many games- but as soon as a team got in front they turned it on!
I can't see how Moyes can make that happen again

I think Nani is one of United's more better players. He shouldn't be mentioned alongside the likes Young and Valencia.mystiroakey wrote:Players like young, fletcher, nani and valencia have been made to look good by a legendary manager.

The problem is that United currently don't have a great deal of talent at the disposal. The majority of their players should be no more than just squad players but are making the starting eleven due to the lack of overall quality of the team.

I think arsenal are actually the team to go to to be honest- ramsey would be stupid to go anywhere.
adding ozil was genius.
a midfield of wilshere, ramsey and ozil is just sex

Never liked Arsenal as a team but when they on form they are a joy to watch. Really please for Ramsey too, looks in great form.
Still don't think Arsenal will challenge for the title. Too defensively poor.

They do seem to be crapping themselves a bit at the moment.
There are clearly not the finished article yet!!
They still have that head problem , I still think they have a very good shot at the title and my 8/1 will have probably shot down to 5/1 for the title after today

In a nutshell. SAF leaving is the worse thing that could have happened to Yanited and the best thing for the rest of the league.mystiroakey wrote:Players like young, fletcher, nani and valencia have been made to look good by a legendary manager.

Ramsey -> Ramses -> Egypt -> Africa -> South Africa...
Think I just made quite the compelling case for Ramey to play for South Africa.

Re: Barclays Premier League 13/14 Thread
Not impressed with Swansea at all, Arsenal did the job & got the win, without really playing that well.
Not really judging Arsenal as of yet, in terms of title contenders. Think we will know if their the 'real deal' or not after November 10th. That's probably the date when you can categorically define where this club is & what they can realistically challenge for this season.
2 Nov - Premier League Arsenal vs Liverpool
6 Nov - Champions League Group Stage Dortmund vs Arsenal
10 Nov - Premier League Man United vs Arsenal
