Plus he gets £2m a year for like attending a specific number of dates a year for making motivational speeches. He's filthy rich. Books are pretty pointless, we know much of it anyway. If anything he's lost some respect from key players, those players that actually made him what he is. Like Harry, they state something and then its called a lie by the person in question, I.e Barry bonds. I expect a lot of what fergie is saying is bull****. Great manager though.
As for Hull, never safe. Remember few years ago they were like top 6 at xmas or something stupid, they subsequently were fighting off relegation last day of season. Its a marathon, not sprint for everyone. Arsenal aren't champions n Sunderland aren't relegated.....you get my drift.

Ian Holloway won just SEVEN of his last 33 league games (25 Championship, 8 Premier League) at Crystal Palace #CPFC
W 7
D 11
L 15
That's a pretty poor record tbh

I'll be honest, I think Holloway is a bit overrated as a manager.

I wouldn't say overrated, you only have to look at his work in the Championship with Plymouth, Blackpool and Palace (Scum) But when the going gets tough, Holloway always seems to get going!

He'll end up at Middlesborough most likely always quite liked Holloway good championship manager but that's it.
I always wondered how Chris Hughton keeps getting jobs im suspecting a few comprising pictures somewhere hidden away. Be gone by new year is my bet anyway.

The only player who hasnt seemingly got respect for him is Keane, and I dont think Fergie cares. Actually, I dont think he cares about anyones respect, he probably enjoyed the whole process and it will be enjoyed by a lot of people. They are a form of entertainment after all.John wrote:Plus he gets £2m a year for like attending a specific number of dates a year for making motivational speeches. He's filthy rich. Bit harsh, did win the Champ with Toon and had them mid-table in Prem, then took Brum to the playoffs and a decent European campaign on like no budget, and he's doing alright-ish with us.Fernando wrote:He'll end up at Middlesborough most likely always quite liked Holloway good championship manager but that's it.

He's not exactly torn the league up, has he? He's looked alright in patches, and is certainly no Patrick Vieira. Even Johnny Howson has scored this seasonOlly wrote:Leroy Fer spits in your faceAzzy Mahmood wrote:I think the jury is out on Swansea and Norwich, not sure any of those moves have been a success just yet.

What about:
Mark Bright as manager
Ian Wright as ass man
Aki Riihilahti as first team coach / twitter account monitor
Nigel Martyn as GK coach
Hayden Mullins as def coach
John Salako as conditioning coach
Geoff Thomas as finishing coach
Failing that, Chris Coleman will be out of a job soon.
Pick of the bunch, you have a way with prose Azzy (combined with my purile sense of humour and it being Friday)

Agreed, unfair on Hughton. The player with composite pics to ensure his selection has to be Theo Walcott. How else does he keep getting to pull on the shirt for club and country.Olly wrote:Bit harsh, did win the Champ with Toon and had them mid-table in Prem, then took Brum to the playoffs and a decent European campaign on like no budget, and he's doing alright-ish with us.Fernando wrote:He'll end up at Middlesborough most likely always quite liked Holloway good championship manager but that's it.

The budget constraints on Birmingham really kicked in after Hughton

This. Hughton had a big squad in his season with Birmingham, if he didn't get the play offs it would of been failure.GSC wrote:The budget constraints on Birmingham really kicked in after Hughton

Yeah could see it. He can't be feeling great about the whole Moody thing at Cardiff pretty much undermined him, and he's a cult hero out this way, always said the one place he was looking forward to coming to when back in the Prem was Carra Rd. Love Big Malk
