Has Anyone Been To Reykjavik?
First topic message reminder :
Am thinking of going in February for 3 or 4 nights, anyone got any advice about hotels, places to visit etc? Have had a virtual drive-round on google maps and it looks like a giant suburb.

That is probably who I am thinking of then. I guessing he doesn't post on here or he would have contributed.Galted wrote:Joey Guðjónsson is Icelandic. He played for Villa for a while. He's from Akranes, a port on the west coast. My guess is that, if he's on 606 v2, he's giving misleading information or witholding it. Might be worthwhile setting up a Has Anyone Been To Arkranes thread to see if there's a flurry of helpful suggestions.

Re: Has Anyone Been To Reykjavik?
I've done a bit of research on this and have discovered where your confusion has arisen from:superflyweight wrote:An old flat mate of mine got it on with a female Swedish international footballer once. Her driving licence confirmed that she was female. She was very loud and I was able to dispense with the need for my listening glass, but I can report that the noises were more canine than seal like.Galted wrote:I think it was Finnish women who make seal noises during love-making/murder.Mind the windows Tino. wrote:Things we've learned about Reykjavik so far:
1 - there is a tea towel shop(s)
2 - there is a tea room(s)
3 - polar bears are rare but you don't need to worry about them as the police will shoot them
4 - there may be an avenue named after Bobby Fischer
5 - Gay people live there
6 - The women make seal noises during lovemaking
7 - David James plays footy there
seals are related to canines like dogs and wolves. therefore, seals bark for the same reasons dogs do, to communicate.
Tino can you reinstate number 6 as it is quite clear that in respect of both mine, and superfly's evidence, Scandinavian chicks do sound like seals when riding it like it's stolen.

Still haven't had a response from someone who has actually been.
Closest we've had is The Womble's parents went there and Jeff shared a football stadium with some Reykjavikians.
sean molesting a seal and superfly having a jostle to his mate sleeping with a Swedish footballer don't really count.

I didn't mean at the shop..... Dumplings are a northern sort of thing and northerners are quite similar to Scandi's.
