The Culture Cup round 6
First topic message reminder :
I'm not really a London person. Occasionally Putney or Clapham to see mates or Lords for the cricket.
If Georgian food is anything like Estonian fayre I may give it a miss.
Galted wrote:seanmichaels wrote:Galted wrote:Decided to treat myself to a 3-piece variety meal but the Wrap-It-Up is between work & the KFC so you can probably imagine what happened.
Your Hi-Techs started to squeek?
Probably but I was too hungry to notice. Almost broke into a run as I approached the Wrap-It-Up.
Have you ever been to Tamada by the way? Georgian restaurant off Abbey Road. Went there for my birthday and found no reason to complain.

Was a bit rash but am off the lager for January so figured it's ok every once in a while. Still owe myself a KFC 3-piece variety.
8 cans of cider is a bit much isn't it? I'd suggest 2 cans plus 5 cans of Bud plus a Crabbies alcoholic ginger beer.
probably be 5 or 6 then a couple of glasses of red. applying for a job in london tonight so need my wits about me.
You need your wits about you to apply for a job?
The interview I can understand, but just the application process?
It is an emotional step finally giving in to the lure of the bright lights....
It ain't all bright. Despite what TopHat will have you believe, it is full of people like TopHat.
That should be enough to put you off.

I probably won't get it as it is a complete change of industry. Would be close to waterloo though so even if I did get it I could keep my head down and miss the majority of bellends, cross dressers and johnny foreigners.

The job.
The cross dressers are fine. It is the c*nts walking around talking into their phones whilst trampling over a small child that you need to avoid.

I haven't read the Mark Duggan thread. I didn't even know there was one.
It can't have been more controversial than this, though? We have covered everything from child molestation to insect dung.
We used to talk about music once.

It is not the most masculine of dogs, Sean. Is very difficult though, if you are going to get a little dog there are very few that are not more than a little effeminite. Shiba Inu's are OK as are some of the terrier breeds. My advice would be to avoid any small dog calssified in the toy group and stick to the terriers if she is insistent on a small dog.

Alternatively just shave it and draw scales on with permanent marker. You could also scribble in a pair of angry looking eyebrows like so... >:

Jeff has given some very good considered advice. I cannot walk a dog like that especially as the closest par is a well known cottaging area. I think my best hope is a miniature schnauzer (black). Bearing in mind I'm gonna be walking it I feel I can have some influence on the decision.
