The Culture Cup round 6
First topic message reminder :
I'm not really a London person. Occasionally Putney or Clapham to see mates or Lords for the cricket.
If Georgian food is anything like Estonian fayre I may give it a miss.
Galted wrote:seanmichaels wrote:Galted wrote:Decided to treat myself to a 3-piece variety meal but the Wrap-It-Up is between work & the KFC so you can probably imagine what happened.
Your Hi-Techs started to squeek?
Probably but I was too hungry to notice. Almost broke into a run as I approached the Wrap-It-Up.
Have you ever been to Tamada by the way? Georgian restaurant off Abbey Road. Went there for my birthday and found no reason to complain.

Would not automatically assume that was related to the snack Dave.

Has anyone heard from Rowley since he antagonised the 667Killer yesterday?

False alarm, he's debating with 4L on Off-Topic. Unless the 667Killer's craftily assumed his identity and Rowley's been turned into a lampshade or pigfeed.

Bit harsh Julius, I have lost 1 and half pound since last week. I am within touching distance of being able to buy clothes from normal shops soon.

Went to Uni in Southampton and used to live near the Dell. There was a live evening match and tennis balls kept landing on the pitch. Turned out it was students from the house down the road whacking them over the stand from their back yard.

You and I have lived similar existences, seany. I also went to Uni on the south coast. Portsmouth, for me.
We are a similar age, have similar aged partners, both like boxing, rugby and cricket and have both left a trail of broken hearts behind us.
We could be brothers.

Tina what is with this online obsession with claiming people as brothers, first it was superfly and now Sean. Suggests something is missing from your life.

If seanmichaels is what is missing from his life, he needs serious help.
I would rather have a kidney missing from my life.

I like an evening meal though.....
Have always found portsmouth a bit bleak looking. Remember school days playing rugby / cricket at the grammar school and st john's southsea. Bird turd everywhere and in the winter the fields invariably had puddles.

I have a lot going for me Tina, own a lot of films, varied and interesting music collection and a quantity of boxing books that whilst falling short of a library almost certainly qualifies as a collection.

Touch and go as to which is the most interesting but housing the wreck of the Mary Rose probably sways it in favour of the dockyard.

Perhaps the grannies dress more sluttily at the Southampton historic dockyards, just reporting back on what I saw.
