The Culture Cup round 6
First topic message reminder :
Happily, the first Spice Girls Single not to go to Number 1 was Stop, it was kept off top spot by Run DMC vs Jason Nevins - It's Like That.
seanmichaels wrote:Rowley wrote:seanmichaels wrote:Rowley wrote:JuliusHMarx wrote:I think I'll upset Jeff now and say that Blackberry Way is a better song than Waterloo Sunset.
Why would the fact you're a moron upset me?
As an aside though another Move song, Flowers in the Rain was the first song ever played on Radio One.
That could and should have been posted on me remarkably unpopular Music anecdotes thread....
Sean, if the thread had been called useless music trivia it almost certainly would have been. I have any number of such facts I could amaze you good people with.
Hit me.

None I would choose to share with you Tina. I am not superfly, shamelessly and tediously rehashing the same tired anecdotes. I move ever forwards.

Nah, sure it was Westlife. Could have been Boyzone but I don't think so.
Not sure why he is being so coy about it. It's a zinger.

Speaking of musical anecdotes, Dave Lee Travis once painted me in the nude. He was very professional.

No, but my dad's met Rolf Harris.
My dad has not yet been investigated by Operation Yewtree despite having played golf with a number of seventies/eighties celebrities including Kenny Lynch, Tarbie, the dad from the Oxo adverts that pretended to be married to Lynda Bellingham despite the fact that Bellers was about 3 divisions out of his league, Kenny Dalglish and Lennie Bennet.

Just on pasta with tomato pesto and sweetcorn myself. Possibly a vegetable soup (oxo cube) from the free coffee machine. Apple unfortunately didn't survive the journey to work.

Perhaps Rick waited a few days till it had solidified and then cut it into handy, sandwich sized slices?

Re: The Culture Cup round 6
if the bottom slice is thick enough you can eat about half without detriment.
It is then a game of chance whether to tough it up and eat it risking sloppage, or, utilise utensils to carve up the rest.
It's like a game with a meal...

Slow day so I'm trying to be pro-active by setting up my phone. Hopefully if I make it so I like it I won't drop it in a pint / leave it on roof of car etc etc.
As such, can anyone recommend a good weather app (not impressed by met office) and any other suitable apps for the 'dashing young professional type'.
ps mostly directing this at Galted and Rick as whilst they are clearly geeks, they are not miserable old beards like the rest of you.
