Yeah that definitely has a point and relevance. It shows how ludicrous a comment that is.

He's Spanish in the Kevin Pietersen way, I guess. Anyway, I think by now everyone knows my love for Aguero is exceeded only by Mystiroakey's love for Zaha..
but even then, Aguero is totes going to win this battle, he has to, I put money on it

Deserved win, but what a game. About 40 shots in the game. Sakho five in his last five games, six in six starts for the club. Enner gets one and then even Carlton gets in on the act.

Top four

The most undeserved point of the season by a bunch of cheating c--ts from hull. Any time a fly would buzz past them they were rolling around on the ground 5 minutes and the moronic pud referee kept stopping the match. Their first goal was a clear foul as Diame pulled Flamini and slapped him in the face. And how there was 3 minutes of extra time in the first half when the goalie went out injured and how there wasn't more extra time in the second half is beyond me. One freaking legitimate chance the whole match and those cheats steal a point. Buy some freaking defenders Arsene. Just ridiculous time wasting cheats and incompetent officiating what a surprise.

We seriously need to score a goal and by doing so beat QPR on the 27th.

4 defeats in a row now 0 scored 11 conceded.

Very poor.

What a result, first win of the season. We played absolutely dreadful, but world class players, like Gabriel Obertan, step up & deliver when it's needed. Buzzing.

How much added time did you want, Socal?

Six and a half minutes were added on in the second half. And the keeper's injury delayed the game for just two minutes in the first half. Added to other injuries, that seems perfectly fair to me.

Socal will look for any old excuse before he admits that Arsenal just aren't that good, with the worlds best midfielder they should be romping the league.

MOTD running order....Sou v Sun / Man c v Spurs / CP  v Chelsea/ Arse v Hull / Bur v WH / EFC v Villa/ NUFC v Leicester

I was one of the few who wasn't worried by Southampton selling at all. If you look at what they've signed more often then not it's an improvement or atleast seems to be so far see what happens over the winter.

Pelle from Lambert
Long from Osvaldo
Sane from Ramirez
Gardos from Hooiveld
Forster from Boruc
Tadic From Lallana
Alderweireld from Lovren
Bertrand from Shaw

Exactly. People in this country cream their pants over abit of english talent, that in reality, isn't much kop in relation to world wide standards.

Pelle from Lambert - massive upgrade from the beet-root packer. Pelle has banged goals in for fun in Holland, now doing it here.
Long from Osvaldo - Osvaldo was AWOL for 99% of the time, Long isn't great but at least gives you 100% effort.
Sane from Ramirez - Big upgrade, Sane looks a talent & Gaston was injured for 100% of the time.
Gardos from Hooiveld - Hooiveld was bang awful
Forster from Boruc - Huge upgrade
Tadic From Lallana - Probably the player I've been impressed by most. Lallana who? More creative, better eye for goal, £20m cheaper, say no more.
Alderweireld from Lovren - Lovren is being exposed at Liverpool, pretty average. Alderweireld has done it in Spain, experienced & is a talent
Bertrand from Shaw - Probably Shaw has more potential but Bertrand is still relatively decent.

Still have Rodriguez to return too.

Man u can't even do well in the transfer window. For Southampton to do it is almost beyond belief. But good on them. And all the people slating there English(or homegrown) talent. That's not fair.

There youth set up created. Walcott, bale, shaw, chambers, ox, kylne,.

They deserve everything they get. And I would love to see them top 4. Although they will pro ally do exactly what they did last season. Please all remember that they started of this way last season then tailed of.

But 8-0.. Jeas. That's something else.

Hindsight 20:20, many of those players could easily not have settled.

On arsenal - wenger is managing a load of cack - now it is his fault as he signed them all but still.

All of his defensive players are rubbish, not below average - rubbish, none of them would look out of place in mid table sides.

His forwards are thin in number and average.

He has one type of player, little creative midfielder who does nothing defensively and he has half a dozen good versions of them.

I'd love to know what was going through his mind when he was constructing this squad.

To think of the money we could have made if the Premier League money era had gone as mental back when we had Fatty, Cole, Ferdinand, Carrick, Johnson and Defoe.

We've still got a backbone of youth products in our team, and the leagues are similarly full of our young lads who generally go on to make it in the professional game quite comfortably.

Yes, however we've really slowed down.

Academy system changed and screwed us.

No top sides bring through loads of youth players anymore, too much pressure on results. Look at city pre and post billionaire owner to see a great exampl of that.

You joke but southampton had one pl midfielder out of 5 starting today.

And that was cattermole, so 0.5/5.

Had that happened under Di Canio I'd have fancied him to slap a few players on the way off the pitch.

That was just embarrassing for Sunderland.

This Mason lad has been good when i've watched him.

Aguero is just the best striker in the league by a distance when hes fit and on it.

He'd be scoring Messi/Ronaldo levels of goals without the injuries.
