Lambert available at 5 million. Expect a host of clubs will be in for him, hopefully Albion one of them.
Re: January Transfer Window Thread 14-15 season
Lennon looks like going to Everton now. West Ham might be getting Zarate back from QPR and have floated a Jarvis/Caulker swap deal

Heard we were strongly linked with him, then deal fell through.

Question Dolph why did you bid for Bafetimbi Gomis when you have Carroll/Valencia/Sakho...
Is one leaving?

I'd bet you decent money it didnt happen. Although Sakho is in b*tch issues with FIFA and Senegal, Valencia keeps being linked to Chelsea and other CL clubs. But I doubt anything will happen with any of them for about 18 months

Yevhen Konoplayanka move to Roma has failed again. Just like Liverpool's last year.

Just spoke to a source and he says it probably won't happen. Hope I'm wrong though, could do with a winger with a bit of pace, that being said I have always hated SWP.Dolphin Ziggler wrote:SWP going Brighton apparently

West Brom bid 4m for Antonio.
Shame we're under an embargo or easy money. Mind you if Demarai Gray is worth 5m...

Reading signed Yakubu. "Feed the Yak and he'll score". Great, I can see this is going to bode well in the Reading camp. Although looking at his goalscoring record, its not that bad.

The Dorrans/Olsson stuff is complete rubbish, we're signing an attacking mid from Hamilton

Re: January Transfer Window Thread 14-15 season
You'll love him. He's better than Anichebe too. Considering its deadline day and your big money summer punt didnt work, I'd say you could do a lot worse anyway. Hes no superstar but hes nowhere near as bad as he's portrayed, and hes definitely better than Shola Ameobi!

Re: January Transfer Window Thread 14-15 season
We both seemed to have failed with Adebayor, a player I would take on loan but never permanently. I'm sure WBA will pull something out, surprised they havent gone in with the money for Gestede.

Re: January Transfer Window Thread 14-15 season
Adebayor totally unrealistic on our part, wage wise. Thought we'd go in for Gestede, think that Lambert was the one we really wanted though.
Really disappointed we aren't going for Jarvis, seems might go back for Matt Phillips.

So Zaha proved to be the best player in the world at United then.

Re: January Transfer Window Thread 14-15 season
Looks like West Ham's business for the day will be doing a part exchange with QPR. They get Jarvis and we get Zarate. Thats right, our transfer business has been to bring back a player from loan, yet lose another player. And King Carlton too

Not good enough for United anymore, but more than good enough for us.
Re: January Transfer Window Thread 14-15 season
He was always a bit average. Cant imagine barely playing fir a few years will have helped that.

Ashley getting those 3 points vs Hull sealed our deadline day fate. Nobody signed, Santon out the door & a bus load of utter ****, sent to help out Rangers. Epic window for the Toon.

Re: January Transfer Window Thread 14-15 season
Fletcher will be a decent signing for WBA, he's capable of doing a job in midfield and whilst he's no longer near the level required for us he won't shirk away from his defensive responsibilities which is vital near the bottom.

Spurs wont let us have Adebayor cos we're too close in the table. Bit funny really, the arrogance of them would never have let that be said at the start of the season

The best part easily David Gold and David Sullivan's son telling West Ham fans not to go to bed, and then Sullivan's son saying nothings happening half hour later
