First topic message reminder :
Now the season is over, the rumours begin!

Falcao is desperate to move to Chelsea.
Otamendi and Dani Alves to Manchester United.

That's insane for a man who shouldn't be more than a squad player

By most accounts Manchester City actually offered him £165k as well!

Re: Summer Transfer Window Thread 15/16
I believe its going to come down to who can offer him the most football from a central role and Liverpool seem to be able to do that whereas City play him in a less favourable wide role, yeah its too much in wages, but money in football is beyond stupid now

Former Chelsea midfielder Michael Essien has joined Panathinaikos on a two-year deal. They must be desperate, thought his knees went five years ago.

The aptly named Christian Fuchs has signed a three-year deal with Leicester.

Re: Summer Transfer Window Thread 15/16
Manchester United are interested in Sterling...and reports suggest he would be interested, nay, eager to join up with United and LVG.
Skrtel is very unhappy with Liverpool's contract offer to him.
But, in good news, Ings is looking more likely.
QPR want £15m for Austin, but suitors seem more likely to go to £10m. Southampton lead the group of themselves, WBA and Newcastle.
Skrtel is very unhappy with Liverpool's contract offer to him.
When asked if the problem was the contract being appearance-linked, Skrtel said: “Sure. I think a contract like this is offered to players who are much older than me or to players who have had some health complications. But I feel good and not so old to sign this contract. Also I think my health is OK. The contract offered is unacceptable for me; this is the reason why I didn’t sign it.

He was good for us when Sherwood came in.
Thought we would have signed him.
Think he did say before he wanted to go tho Everton.
Fair play to him and well done to him for helping us beat the drop.

After watching Raheem Sterling's performance in the England vs Ireland game I'd be amazed if anyone would pay over £10m for him.
World class?............
Raheem Sterling = Shaun Wright Phillips.

Obiang looks nailed on for West Ham, and the Mail and Telegraph are reporting Andre Ayew to West Ham is very close too.
Enner Valencia may end up at Sampdoria in this process.

ings deal to liverpool confirmed
better than balotelli, but him and milner hardly putting fear into the teams chasing champions league places. average squad players. watch milner without silva and yaya taking the ball off him and doing the real hard work (not running!)

Signing Danny Ings sums it all up. Decent player but nowhere near the standard they would want to be aiming at

He's only 22. Am quite happy with the two we have brought in so far. We lacked tenacity last season and we have brought in two players to combat that issue. Both Milner and Ings will give 100% to the cause.

Re: Summer Transfer Window Thread 15/16
I hope Neil gives him a chance personally. He has very little value at the moment anyways, so there's nothing to lose in giving him the first half of the season to see if he can regain old form, if not sell in January or next summer.
He should fair better under Neil than hughton anyways
