I am a member indeed Jeff, it is a pre-requisite for playing for the team, I am also a member of one other in the area, because they have better snooker tables.

Working Men's Clubs always seem to have better Snooker tables.

The 5's and 3's league is where most pf the agression is, as everyone accuses everyone else of tic-taccing, but they are old and blind so would not have a clue if someone was passing messages along to be fair

I belong to 2 sports/working men's clubs and a some other club which is quite hard to define or explain. I just joined up because I needed something to eat at the time. Took out a 5 year membership because it seemed like very good value.

I find it difficult to go back to the libraries now Rick. Although they were not the venue for the unfortunate incident they are still tainted to some degree.

They are currently renovating the library in the local town here, I thought it may have been a modernisation, but it is more likely to be a deep clean thinking about the stuff that goes on in there...

What is the difference (if any) between a working men's club and a / the legion club. Been to a couple of legions. Good pre-going out places

TSMR had that strange look on her face of being both impressed and embarrassed that I am such a geek. As a man who has previously got a Sibelius answer on University Challenge I am sure you know the look only too well.

Problem at the minute is when we are on top in games we are not getting the goals to reflect that. Also the ball is not sticking in the final third, so when teams start to get on top there is no relief. The one striker we had went off injured Saturday, prior to that we had been on top.

Fair enough Jeff let's hope you are right and Dinny retain their rightful place at the top (ish)

Sibelius was a good one, only surpassed by the reaction to me knowing the difference between the paintings of Pieter Breguel the Elder, Pieter Breugel Jnr and Bosch.
