Big f*cking deal.

Has she been moonlighting with Jules as well? Obviously still plenty of lead in the old pencil.

Hush, the big boys are talking!
Saw an article on Twitter last night about giant house spiders marauding their way across the UK. Lots of videos and pictures of reasonably sized harmless spiders accompanied the article - not one of them would survive being stamped on by a hi-tec.

Your impressive and unashamed knowledge of the world of Bond really does your standing in the table no harm Rick. You've even read the books, which means a lot to me.

Need a bit of advice. I've just been complimented (I think) by a lady. She said she likes my quirky use of herringbone and houndstooth. WTF does that mean?

I think she is suggesting that most people would not wear a herringbone stitch item of clothing with a houndstooth item at the same time, which seems reasonable enough. Take it as a compliment Sean that she thinks you carry it off.

No, I was digging about again in that area on Saturday but only uncovered some decent sized snails. I think the centipedes may be re-fortifying their position having learned that a lot of legs and some tiny pincers are no match for a knackered Scotsman with a spade.

Their pincers are called forcipules.
Just in case it ever comes up on University challenge.

This one is quite nice though. Looks like a miserable cnut 90% of the time, but has a lovely smile when she cracks.

Tino if you're still obsessed with arthropods you could do worse than head to dunstable downs and follow the paths taking care to keep an eye out for strange but harmless insects.

The Dunstable downs are nice. I have a mate who lives in Barton. I've driven through them occasionally to see him.
