With England now being "OUT" OF THE RUGBY WORLD CUP. They clearly have nothing too lose.
SO all the players in the 31 who have not played a game yet should be given their chance.
The likes of Danny Care starting at 9 and Wigglworth on the bench.
Easter and Kruse, Slade etc etc.
what do you think.
What have they got too lose?
Nothing.

i don't think this is a game for learning, i think this is a game to get everyone on the pitch regardless of position. Cole will be back on in a minute at 9

Thought (and my name probably suggests some bias) that Goode's played well, specially second half

he's been so so, nothing special but has done the basics. But we're playing a bunch of plumbers so have to put it into context

Re: England v Uruguay
we have some great backs, but our forwards have gone backwards since the start of the warmup.
New coach with these young players, i think we'll do well, maybe not at the start but it will come

Ford and Farrell have now both missed kicks from roughly the spot where we had a chance to equalize against Wales. Apologies for the meaningless observation.

So was Robshaw being a great captain by making sure either of the kickers didn't get assassinated by the media should they miss lol

Farrell was on fire that night unfair to say he would have missed.
SL apparently said he wasn't going to watch much rugby over the coming weeks, so I think we have confirmation he is gone.

That's a shame, Slade Nowell,Watson and JJ have a good future together, just need to turn Ford into a 85% goal kicker

i doubt he ever will, he's always been like that in pressure situations. He was always like it at Tigers too.

Ford after having a poor game clearly held on to the ball and penalty ended up going the wrong way eventually. I was told earlier that this thread wasn't about WALES. Congratulations on your win against semi-pro's anyway.

True enough. Wales getting man-shamed by the Boks will be some satisfaction when you've got posters like mikey (WelshLadGareth Powell) in the mix

Never said it wasn't Mikey personally. I tend to agree with you on Ford holding on andvwith the first England nontry. I will tell you though that if you're ever unlucky enough like me to get cancer all this will be put in pespective!..its only a game

I was rooting for England and Wales in pool A. But the fans on here have just made their early exit all the more comical now. Amazing really isn't it. I think we'll leave it at that. See you in Feb lads after we have our meeting with the boks (in the rugby world cup).
