With England now being "OUT" OF THE RUGBY WORLD CUP. They clearly have nothing too lose.
SO all the players in the 31 who have not played a game yet should be given their chance.
The likes of Danny Care starting at 9 and Wigglworth on the bench.
Easter and Kruse, Slade etc etc.
what do you think.
What have they got too lose?
Nothing.

Enjoy the game Mike please accept my best wishes for your cup run. I hope you'll fo the NH proud and get a win against the odds.
I agree, I really can't cheer for SA since we was robbed in the 2007 RWC final, it was a try IMO.

Because like all English on here, he's bitter about losing to Wales so latches onto their opposition at every opportunity. Who says you can't enjoy your own world cup when England are out of it huh?

Well pretty poor, but to be fair no team looked particularly good against Uruguay.

Why are Englanders complaining about comments they don't agree with? I post a valid match thread comment, seeing as Ford was CLEARLY holding on, and England fans reply by slagging off the Wales team rather than discuss the match. I guess this is why other fans laugh at your team's misfortune. The 'supporters' on here have been nothing but bitter since losing to Wales and it's quite pathetic.

I don't think the Welsh fans are particularly bad on this forum. They do have their bad lads like mikeyphil (with his current account), Gwlad, rainbow warrior and maestegmafia but there are some good guys.
That been said, I'm massively behind the Boks!

Yeah, I think if we're going to kiss the feet of Japan as 'minnows' that have outdone themselves in this Competition, then I think we should bow the head to Uruguay too - a feisty bunch who never knew when to lie down and never let their heads sink under the massive pressure of three big boys in their group

I thought against Fiji they were nasty, niggly little gits. In the finest tradition of South American rugby of course.

This is hilarious. You were saying this about maestegmafia earlier after someone else said it a couple days ago, yet when someone says it to you you post libellous comments - that says to me that it is you who needs to grow up. While you're at it, learn to appreciate an opposite point of view.
I don't know why stating that Ford was CLEARLY holding on is gathering so much criticism for a poster and the national team he supports. It looked like he was clearly holding on to me. England were going full on to try and finish on a high and ended up looking a bit shaky. Wales went through in third gear and still made the knock-out stages.
"They don't like it up um."

Clearly you're an impartial poster. I think you should be promoted to moderator and have a word with the keyboard warriors slagging off a poster who dares to disagree with them. Unlucky again Uruguay on that wrong decision.

No just wrong - the Uruguay player who tried to take the ball off him went in initially on his knees and then there was an offside ... that's why it was a penalty try.

I thought the penalty try was for offside...He didn't give the holding on (wrongly for me) and then gave a penalty against Uruguay

Re: England v Uruguay
Yes the offside was after the ball was moved away from Ford - but it wasn't a penalty against Ford for holding on as the Uruguay player put hands on the ball while he was on his knees so it wasn't a legal challenge. You have to arrive on your feet and he didn't so that was a penalty against as well ...

He leans over Ford to challenge for the ball while on his knees - if you believe that's abiding by the laws I think you need to review them. Although I'm not sure you really believe that tbh.

Well I thought before the tournament started that Slade should be our 12, and I'd be amazed if he doesn't start the next game for England at IC, whoever the coach is.
We need to sort out our forward play, because our backs are going to evolve into a sensational unit.

Re: England v Uruguay
Although England won convincingly against Uraguay. the scoreline flatter to believe to be honest. The amount of handling errors was to much. yes most of the team had not played together be fore but that was no excuse.
England in my opinion proved yesterday that playing Burgess in the centre was a big mistake. The centre partnership should of been Slade and Joseph, with Burrell on the bench.
Danny Care showed that he still had that spark and should probably of been England's starting 9 or at least on the bench, not too sure if Ben Youngs is the answer for the starting slot at 9.
It is nice for the coach ( who ever ) that will be to have a headache when it come to selection.
England cannot afford to go on in to the 6ns and beyond not knowing who their starting 15/23 players are.
