Back in the day I played hooker but that was when we were normal sized human beings. Even the under 15's are f*cking monsters these days.

I am playing (very badly) at scrum half for the 2nds. I've managed to play 3 games now without putting in one meaningful tackle.

And yes, Seany, I played on Sunday. Lost 17-9. Could have been worse though.

I am desperate to join local club. Social for the time being as injured. I don't have the balls to do that kind of thing though - turn up and introduce myself etc.

You've played before though. Just turn up and you'll forget the nerves after 5 minutes.

I only went along to help a mate but I am really enjoying it again. Despite the fact that both me and the team I play for are absolute sh*te.

When the 1sts are short, they take players from the under 16's, 17's and 18's rather than borrow from the 2nds.

We have a right laugh on the social side though. And I have so far managed to avoid drinking a pint of my own p*ss which is a bonus.

Rugby social was always brilliant.

The last time I played a try was worth 4 points. In my entire career I scored a total of 1 try and 1 drop goal, the 7 points is probably not too far off the total runs I scored in my cricket career.

Have a go at heel galted. You could win with these last 2 double scoring rounds. May go some way to healing the wounds of being a sporting spaz at school....

I think Sean drowned in his own ejaculation yesterday but apart from that everyone is as hearty and hale as can be. Except for Tino, you never know how close to death he is at any given moment.

I have not, though I have lots of work at home options and a perfecly serviceable smartphone so all good in the hood mate! Are you finally getting your holday situation sorted at your work?

Nope. Anytime I mention my holidays he doesn't reply to my texts so wondering if it's worth taking it up with someone higher up the chain. As for Sean Independence day 2 trailer came out yesterday

Steady enough, work do Friday, which was every bit as dull as expected. Watched the fight Saturday.

I left my works do after about an hour as I was bored.

Some good boxing on Saturday, and some anticlimactic MMA also.

Not sure what went on with Eubanks Jnr though, a few of my friends are calling shenanigans on the ending.

Supermarket update - Half price joints (of meat Shah) at the Sainsbury's. Got a 2.5kg ham yesterday for £6.40. Cooked it with a litre of orange juice, water to cover, plenty of cloves and an onion. Zapped it in the oven with a whiskey glaze for 30 mins at the end. Bloody marvellous.

I have put my new answers in and I scored quite low in the last round i think but do not appear in the updated league.

Only the top 5 in each round get points on the leaderboard. Pretty sure you haven't made the top 5 yet? 6th in one round.

when is everyone finishing for christmas? Works out quite well this year. I think if I take off 4 days I end up with 2 weeks off.

That said, i have no reporting line and HR are Poopie, so i reckon i can get away with murder this next 6 weeks or so. Take a few days here and there but don't put it on the system.

I am working right up to Xmas eve and then 2 out of the 3 days in between. I had most of it off last year so I’m reaping the punishment this time. I'm out of holidays anyway. It is pretty quiet though and we come in late, leave early etc etc. It’s about the only time of the year that commuting is not stressful.

Finish at 12pm Xmas Eve and that's me until 4th Jan!

Xmas is generally 3 days of binging at my house. Xmas Day is carnage, which usually ends with me drinking whatever sh*t bottle of win someone brought over on the sofa at about midnight. Boxing day round the in laws pub, which is Football, Beer, Pool and more Beer. 27th is one of our close friends birthday so we go out for that; generally a curry and a knees up.

Years ago I briefly went out with a girl whose mum and dad owned a pub - slightly uncomfortable as I also worked in the pub.

I broke up with her because I failed to see the long game and realise that with a couple of well executed shoves down the stairs, I could have now been the owner of that pub. It causes me no end of regret.

Another cause for regret is that it subsequently came to light that she was into FFM threesomes. She kept that bloody quiet at the time. Mind you, I doubt I'd have managed a threesome - too much excitement and just another person to disappoint.

Afternoon all, just had the "joy" of laying flowers at the site where a work colleague killed himself last year. Very sad.

Pretty much here although I finish on 23rd, don't know how wangled it though. I got first dibs on Xmas holidays last year so this year, as per supervisors rule, I was at the bottom of the list. No one seems bothered about being off so I put my request in more in hope than in expectation and got it.

Anyway, f*ck 'em...I'm off at Xmas, they're not!

Not sure when i am breaking up, the law never sleeps...

But it does go into a carb coma over Christmas for a while, so should get some decent time off.
