It was probably the fusible interfacing if we're being honest. Either that or too much raw edge on your initial post.

I'm so excited about finding out who our new leader is that I can barely sit down. Have to feel for Boris though, thought he tried really, really hard, and he's such an adorable chump it's hard not to love him.

Can't keep that image of 'the dropped sex doll on the factory floor' out of my mind, Galted.
Was that your comment?
Rishi Sunak reminds me of a capybara. All teeth... but only a harmless herbivore with endless stores of food to last for centuries.

Sunak does look a bit like a capybara now that you mention it.

I quite liked Samo's description of him as a "rampaging bumhole". I like it so much, I have used it away from this forum.
Liz is talking at the moment. She really is an electric speaker. A raconteur. Charisma just drips off her.

I was briefly best friends with a four year old girl called Athena, until her dad dragged her away. I think something gave him a scare but I didn't notice anything unusual.

I make sure my substantial cargo shorts are appropriately zipped up. There are often mothers sitting on the opposite side of the sandpit to me and I wouldn't want to get them all wet and frenzied in front of their kids.

When I got to the playground there was a tranny screeching at an audience under the trees. Turns out they had a tranny reading hour for autistics. Sounds like it belongs in the Flying Circus.

Sicond.
You should take your old ghetto blaster down to the sandpit/playground today, Galted.
When I read your first sentence (up there) I thought someone had placed an old transistor radio under the trees... of Life. Then simply walked away and left it there.

L*l out loud. I meant a fetishist.
Your summary of the first part of the Aussie innings inspired me to have a look at the score and, I have to say, I'm very impressed.

Thanks Galts. It was a type of reverse jinx. Praise the opposition and get a little stuck into the convict's performance. It was rightly so at the time.
Low score in this 2nd match. Australia was all out for 195 but their bowling is pretty tight. Never seen such a low score after 15 overs. NZ 21/3. Abbott has bowled 4 maidens and has 2 wickets. So there must be some truth in religion but you wouldn't know reading the golf thread.
