Union Cane's Prediction League - 12th and Final Round
First topic message reminder :

Week Eleven Results

Week Eleven Review
Tomasz Adamek is a two-weight world champion, and therefore clearly no mug, but he was no match for Vitali Klitschko. Simply too small to compete, Adamek did well to last as long as he did but was never going to beat the bigger man.
Paul McCloskey should change his name to McLucky, after a terrible start he somehow managed to turn things round (helped no doubt by the home crowd cheering every punch he threw, let alone landed) and get a controversial decision against Breidis Prescott.
Some very high scores this week, even without the McCall / Cooper result, which is not in yet. which is now a voided fight.
When will I learn not to use fights from these back-water third-world countries?
'Predictor of the Week' is a tricky one this week, with Mind the windows Tino., alma, licence_007 and Reborn-DeeMcK-Reborn all getting all four fights spot on and amassing 16 points each. As it's impossible to split them, this week's award goes to Michaels, Sean, who, despite all the points on offer, still only managed a paltry 3 points. Took some doing that, well done Sean.

Sloppy Union, sloppy.

Don't blame Union for making mistakes, the realisation that the competition is almost over and that yours truly is an odds on favourite to win is probably too much for him to cope with.

I guess he was, but his prediction league was flawless. No predictions were missed and he didn't take two days to post the results. He also had liberal usage of l*l and hahahah which I particularly enjoyed.
It's not over till Adele sings Coxy.

You're thinking of Lodewicus Theodorus "Louis" Oosthuizen.
The one we are concerned with is Thomas "Tommy Gun" Oosthuizen.
The surname is the same though, I can see where the confusion arose.

It's amazing really, how I have gone from a nobody to one of, if not the, most respected contributors to the forum in only 1000 posts.

Now now Jeff.
You could learn a thing or two about dignity and respect from Scott and Windy. Who, I might add, are number 1 & 2 in my p4p 606v2 list.

Don't want Truss to accuse me of being a buttlicker, Truss' approval is far more important than yours

Never a truer word spoken! I am yet to be called either a buttlicker, hit and run merchant or been told to run along.
I guess even with 1000 posts, I still have some way to go.

It's one of two things, either Truss is mellowing or you're not trying hard enough, am pretty certain it is the latter.

When you create the first thread to hit 1000 posts you can start crowing. Oh wait, noone else in history (on 606v2) will ever do that again.Union Cane wrote:Congratulations on your 1000th post Tino, it is a feat that I can only hope to emulate, oh hang on, I did that ages ago.
When you create a thread that gets over TEN THOUSAND views, then you can start crowing.

I can only dream of being as respected as you, Mr Crane.
Thanks for your thanks anyway. You really can be a ghastly man sometimes.
As for you Coxy, I believe you called me an idiot-headed, muppet-faced twonk on one occasion.

I don't understand how people can mess up the quoting thing, but it happens all the time. I, for example, didn't write that at all.
