Welcome to the virtual rugby pub - a place where you can come in for a sly beverage and discuss whatever's on your mind, or just eavesdrop on the regulars if you fancy a break from all the rugby chat.

The only rule in this pub is one of mutual respect for everyone in it, oh and no defacing the David Wallace photo on the bar. That's a banning offence

So pull up a chair....what'll it be?

I wouldn't see that as a worry, Stag. You could argue that a young back row wouldn't have that much experience, but the only way to gain experience is by playing. It's a cliche to say 'if they're good enough, they're old enough,' but it's true nonetheless. Another thing is that the next Six Nations will be the start of the next World Cup cycle and it would make sense to opt for youth.

There's only 4 days during the group stages that have no Rugby World Cup games at all. So excited! I've cleared my Sky+ to record some of the ones I can't watch live.

Staggy - are you not meant to be there on Fridays? I thought it was Monday yesterday. I bought a two pint carton of milk for work which is normally a week's worth as well.

You all set for Porthcawl Penfro? Tommy Bowe says there were snow showers forecast on his blog. Smile

A brilliantly pleasant misunderstanding. My granduncle is over from London this weekend so I'll be spending a fair bit of time with him. Also I'm not refereeing til Monday night so I've a whole weekend of relaxing ahead.

Indeed. Crazy busy day here at work Sad.

Corey Jane has signed a 12 month contract with the Hurricanes, rumour has it he's off to Japan for 2 years afterwards.

That leaves SBW as the only ABs squad member still without a contract somewhere for next season.

Nice article here on the spread of PI culture in the US: http://www.stuff.co.nz/sport/5554951/High-school-haka-a-hit-in-Texas-little-Tonga

I wasn't sad to see them go off Sky Sports. Richard Keys annoyed me more than Andy Gray did. It's just a shame they didn't take Jamie Redknapp with them, as he offers zero insight but seems to be there for every match.
