Welcome to the virtual rugby pub - a place where you can come in for a sly beverage and discuss whatever's on your mind, or just eavesdrop on the regulars if you fancy a break from all the rugby chat.
The only rule in this pub is one of mutual respect for everyone in it, oh and no defacing the David Wallace photo on the bar. That's a banning offence
So pull up a chair....what'll it be?

Re: The Dew Drop Inn Virtual Rugby Pub
Is there another signing in the offing Pete.
BTW what do you make of Sale Sharks signings - 18 new players.

Is the Worcester v Sale match televised today? I would be interested is seeing how Peel gets on.

It's Treviso 3-3 Connacht at the moment. It's over 30 degrees in Treviso and they're having water breaks midway through each half.
It'll be quite a change for Ulster when they place Aironi next Saturday after last nights drenching!

Doubt there will be any more signings Munsty, what we've got is what we've got.
Think Sale may struggle, the side I saw they are putting out this weekend didn't look overly impressive.

Thats what I think too Pete - it seems to be a large squad of mediocre players. Look like they are setting up to consolidate their place in Premiership rather than pushing for Europe and Playoffs.

I checked with forumotion (who provide the hosting) and there is a known problem in the UK with people using a sky/talk talk broadband connection (which I do).
There isnt a time scale on solving it, which really annoys me.
Its not just our forum - its all forums that use the same software.
I'm on Virgin Media cable broadband, so that's not the reason for me.
Saying that, I've just noticed it's a lot quicker than it was.

Half-time score Treviso 3-8 Connacht. Bring it home lads!
Rodney Ah You with the try and apparently the Connacht scrum acquitting themselves well.

It's gone slowish again now.
I can't believe they've still got Martyn "eek" Cooper's name wrong on the Aviva adverts on ESPN.

Re: The Dew Drop Inn Virtual Rugby Pub
Afternoon all. I'm sat outside the Triple Crown in Richmond with other rugby fans before heading to Twickenham for LDH match 2. I think my lot will get pasted today.
But, c'mon Ealing!! 1st home game in National 1 against 'the Club'.
And good luck to all those playing today.
Notch, taking nothing away grom Connacht, but Aironi have lost 10 players to the RWC. They have a lot of debutants on show today.

It's Treviso Hound I know they are very much weakened but Connacht need a win! Very new look team for them as well. 11-3 now.
Besides, its always tough to play them over there. They are physical and abrasive even if they aren't actually... all that good.

Why on earth did the Quins player step inside instead of passing it ? Four man overlap wasted.

Connacht lost 16 players at the end of the season. They have their starters to choose from, but a lot of them are playing together for the first time. Only five of the starting XV today started the last game of last season.
3 - 11 at the moment.

Apologies Notch, dunno why I said Aironi.
Pete, not watching it mate. Just checking the live scores on BBC. And they still have the celtic league listed as The Magners League

19-18 to Quins, 2 cracking tries for Ojo Hound, one missed conversion from Homer, hope it doesn't cost us.

Squeaky bum time. At least with O'Connor, who's on for Jarvis now, the one thing he can do is kick the ball a while long distance.

First bit a joke about wrestling not being a sport and the second one is that it'd obviously not called the Magners league these days it's the RaboDirect Pro12.

Full time in Italy. Treviso 9 - 11 Connacht.
Excellent result, Treviso are missing their internationals, but it's still a tough place to go and get the win.

I've had to escape shopping with my sister, I don't know how she does it, after 3 shops I couldn't take it anymore. We're going out for food later though, so that should be good.
Great result there for Connacht although I'm a bit gutted as my SG picks are really out the window.
By all accounts Llanelli RFC are thumping Newport RFC, which makes me v happy.
Glas - you going to PyS yfori??

Could be Kawarau. I did that one. The trip down the tunnel through the final rapid is good, especially when you're one of the front steerers All the rest were still heads down when we popped out and they missed being on the video.
