The Dew Drop Inn Virtual Rugby Pub
First topic message reminder :
Welcome to the virtual rugby pub - a place where you can come in for a sly beverage and discuss whatever's on your mind, or just eavesdrop on the regulars if you fancy a break from all the rugby chat.
The only rule in this pub is one of mutual respect for everyone in it, oh and no defacing the collage of great current props' pictures on the bar. We've got Castrogiovanni, Beast, the Franks brothers, Mas, Tonga'uiha, Roncero, Cian Healey (as demanded by Hughie), Stevens, Murray, Mike Ross, Adam Jones and Steenkamp all in action. Graffiti's a banning offence
So pull up a chair....what'll it be?

Morning (just) lads.
Stag,
When I read your "Dream" finish to the match I saw "George" instead of "James".
I like that even better!

red_stag wrote:Feic that Luckless here's my ideal scenario:
- Ireland losing by 4 points last minute, 5m out from Wales tryline
- O'Brien gets a metre or two and we get fast ball with an overlap outside us.
- O'Gara (who came on to rescue the game) passes to Wallace who has Keith Earls on his outside. He throws an intercept which is caught by James Hook who runs the lenght of field and scores. Welsh crowd goes wild and Bread of Heaven booms around the stadium.
- Referee wrongly judges Hook to be offside and disallows the try. He instead awards a Penalty Try to Ireland. Ireland win!!!
- Revenge is complete
Sadly James Hook won't be playing. He's injured.
I know what'll happen anyway. Tommy Bowe will do a spectacular run the length of the pitch scoring the winning Irish try in the 79th minute, trampling on my little Welsh heart in the process and I won't like him for about a fortnight afterwards.

Ha Mickado...that actually makes sense.
Here's a world cup question which I don't know the answer to, but which team have had the most yellow/red cards so far in the tournament?
Dreamer - I really hope so, but I think it was his dodgy shoulder he injured, so I don't know...

England, Tonga, USA and Namibia have 2 each.

Ah OK, I just genuinely wondered who's been the naughtiest.
Lucky - I haven't heard different either, but I'm worried about it cause he had an op on that shoulder a few months ago. I think he shouldn't play against Fiji fit or not, and we'll see after that.

Bikkies,
It could also have been interpreted as,
No ... ...any other team that play in Red.
But I'm DEFINATELY NOT going there!

well if we're going by naughtiest, only England and Fiji have had players cited so it would be between those two

It will depend on how he is feeling. He'll either meet me on the Dart at Connolly/Tara or else stay up there til Sunday or Monday.

Actually Munsty he just called me that he will come with us. He'll meet me Dart station.

Feeling under some obligation, I felt duty bound to opt for a Scotland win over England, more out of hope than belief - before I'd even submitted the 'predicted spread' for the win, the SG system came back with: "Friendly warning - You have selected Scotland to win this game. This result will be considered quite an upset, so be sure about picking it." Cheeky feicers
As –I think SG might be taking certain facts into account when giving you that ‘advice’
England have only conceded one try in the tournament and have the second best defensive record behind SA.
England are the third highest try scorers behind NZ and SA.
England have the tournament’s top try scorer to date.
Scotland’s and England’s respective results against the same opposition so far.
England have scored four times as many tries as Scotland against the same opposition.
Scotland have not beaten England by 8 points or more for 25 years.
Seemples!
But it’s Scotland v England…….so all that bollox goes out the window.
