Welcome to the virtual rugby pub - a place where you can come in for a sly beverage and discuss whatever's on your mind, or just eavesdrop on the regulars if you fancy a break from all the rugby chat.
The only rule in this pub is one of mutual respect for everyone in it, oh and no defacing the collage of great current props' pictures on the bar. We've got Castrogiovanni, Hika Reid, The Beast, Colin Windon, the Franks brothers, Mas, Tonga'uiha, Roncero, Cian Healey (as demanded by Hughie), Stevens, Murray, Mike Ross, Adam Jones and Steenkamp all in action. Graffiti's a banning offence
So pull up a chair....what'll it be?

I'm not sure who this Ian fella is but Stephen did indeed lay driveways for some time after he left school.
Seems to have done him no harm at all!

Is that a deliberate spelling of glazing bearing in mind who you are replying to (Glas?)

Watched some Setanta when I was home. Neil Francis and Matt Williams are in a world of their own. Very entertaining viewing though.

Glas, Ferris is the best fella on one leg since Long John Silver! You're calling SOB a one trick pony. So Andy Powell,Mike Phillips,Jamie Roberts have multiple tricks up their sleeve do they?

Easy now, there's a week to go. Two of those three named may not start anyway.
I love it how you get touchy when you're nervous.

Oh no! I'm not even going to look.
Actually I think we should throw this one. I think that of the two sides Ireland are best equipped to beat England in the next round.
Oh, hang on, France may win that quarter final...

Infact, I can barely see it even now.

I thought you lot were into forgiveness of the confessional and all that, one little mistake!
The vital question is - who is reffing?
If it's somebody who is tight at scrum and breakdown and it's dry I see us taking it, if it's a Frenchman, or New Zealander and it's wet, you will win. It really is too close to call otherwise.

Indeed. I'm going to keep my counsel as best I can
Moment to say, Declan Kidney is still a real gentleman of the game.

Of course, we won't know precisely what he said. That's his way.

Yep,it's all part of the banter. First two Welsh tries, shambolic defending . If a Junior 3 team defended like that I would be peed off.

T - there was some superb handling for Scott Williams' try no? not all was down to Fiji's bad defending. Just pointing that out like....

When you get that kind of space it's easy to put it through the hands.

They didn't have to make space Fiji were falling off tackles left right and centre it was like watching an U-8s match where that one big fella gets the ball!

Wales did play well I didn't say they didn't. I just though Fiji were pathetic. They had plenty of time to put it through the hands and the Welsh offloading was great. They played well but it still doesn't mean Fiji weren't rubbish.

Re: The Dew Drop Inn Virtual Rugby Pub
Fiji were their own worse enemies. For a lot of the first half they actually had the better in some of the stats such as territory but they just couldn't do anything with it. Partly down to individual errors, partly us having a superb defence. I expected them to be better to be honest.
