First topic message reminder :

Welcome to the virtual rugby pub - a place where you can come in for a sly beverage and discuss whatever's on your mind, or just eavesdrop on the regulars if you fancy a break from all the rugby chat.

The only rule in this pub is one of mutual respect for everyone in it, oh and no defacing the collage of great current props' pictures on the bar. We've got Castrogiovanni, Hika Reid, The Beast, Colin Windon, the Franks brothers, Mas, Tonga'uiha, Roncero, Cian Healey (as demanded by Hughie), Stevens, Murray, Mike Ross, Adam Jones and Steenkamp all in action. Graffiti's a banning offence

So pull up a chair....what'll it be?

I'm not sure who this Ian fella is but Stephen did indeed lay driveways for some time after he left school.

Seems to have done him no harm at all!

Watched some Setanta when I was home. Neil Francis and Matt Williams are in a world of their own. Very entertaining viewing though.

Actually I think we should throw this one. I think that of the two sides Ireland are best equipped to beat England in the next round.

Oh, hang on, France may win that quarter final...

I thought you lot were into forgiveness of the confessional and all that, one little mistake!

The vital question is - who is reffing?

If it's somebody who is tight at scrum and breakdown and it's dry I see us taking it, if it's a Frenchman, or New Zealander and it's wet, you will win. It really is too close to call otherwise.

Wales did play well I didn't say they didn't. I just though Fiji were pathetic. They had plenty of time to put it through the hands and the Welsh offloading was great. They played well but it still doesn't mean Fiji weren't rubbish.

Fiji were their own worse enemies. For a lot of the first half they actually had the better in some of the stats such as territory but they just couldn't do anything with it. Partly down to individual errors, partly us having a superb defence. I expected them to be better to be honest.
