Welcome to the virtual rugby pub - a place where you can come in for a sly beverage and discuss whatever's on your mind, or just eavesdrop on the regulars if you fancy a break from all the rugby chat.
The only rule in this pub is one of mutual respect for everyone in it, oh and no defacing the collage of great current props' pictures on the bar. We've got Castrogiovanni, Hika Reid, The Beast, Colin Windon, the Franks brothers, Mas, Tonga'uiha, Roncero, Cian Healey (as demanded by Hughie), Stevens, Murray, Mike Ross, Adam Jones and Steenkamp all in action. Graffiti's a banning offence
So pull up a chair....what'll it be?

Re: The Dew Drop Inn Virtual Rugby Pub
Okay guys.
So, let me get this straight.
I no longer have to do any ironing or cooking because that is the man-of-the-house's domain???
MrP is going to LOVE you lot for setting me straight on this!

I think I must be doing something wrong as MrP never cooks or irons and I have managed to damage the car once in 30 years of driving.

Your cooking doesn't sound bad Dreamer. At least you have a go at baking.

Yeah Dreamer. Your buns are famous in here.
I baked an apple-tart after a convo in here. I was happy on wine.It was schhitt. What can I say?
Oh how they laughed.
I'm doing it again tomorrow and all that ridicule from herself and my lads... This time... it will be perfec.
I'm buying it in Albert Heijn.

MrP has been known to attack things with a needle and thread but the results can best be described as functional rather than aesthetic.

I think he forgets that not all stitches disolve or are removed so the colour of the thread does matter!

Re: The Dew Drop Inn Virtual Rugby Pub
I can sew well. Buttons, emblems, slight tares, badges on jackets - are my specialty. They never come loose or show. Ever. Western Wimmin are useless at buttons and sewing club badges on. FACT.
Who darns socks these days? I just throw em out.

Re: The Dew Drop Inn Virtual Rugby Pub
ha just coz I have a go at baking doesn't mean it's all that good.
It's like it's a good enough standard for me to eat (bless my parents, but I'm not used to a high standard of cooking!), but not sure I'd be happy to serve it up to others!
I'm quite annoyed with myself. I resisted buying some wine earlier, and now I really want a glass. Fail.

I just loved B*****ys comment at the dinner-table, when she turned to me and said ... "She's just showing off because you're here J. Would have been fish-fingers had you not been here"
Near pished meself. So did she.
Sorry. It was very posh. And very much appreciated after a tour of George Best NOT International Airport.

I would take this down and use it in evidence should the need arise!

Cooking?
I am born to it - by name and nature.
Fussy Cleaning?
No one comes even near.
Sewing?
See cleaning.
Happy sexual slave?
Master. Or Servant... as the case may be.
Kids in here are getting sick as I speak.
Feic em I say.
