The Dew Drop Inn Virtual Rugby Pub
First topic message reminder :
Welcome to the virtual rugby pub - a place where you can come in for a sly beverage and discuss whatever's on your mind, or just eavesdrop on the regulars if you fancy a break from all the rugby chat.
The only rule in this pub is one of mutual respect for everyone in it, oh and no defacing the life size photo of Thierry Dusautoir.
So pull up a chair....what'll it be?

Just been chatting to my eldest sister. My bro-in-law's gone to Afghanistan now so she's on her own with the dog. She was telling me that during the RWC, even he was a massive supporter of Wales after England were knocked out.

Vening,
Finally went to see the locals get hammered by a club 2 divs above;apparently it's a new way of organising 5/6/7 Div rugby;ain't all that interesting to me.I'll have to look into the rules etc...
still disgustingly warm and dry for the season;8pm here, and 19 c next years peas, onions and beans are already sprouting!!!

You can tell Xmas is coming....everyone's starting to ask for suggestions for presents. I'm so unimaginative. I've just been sending links to useful stuff they can buy off the net.

I'm watching that Gibbo. I actually find Clarkson funny as irritating as he is to some, although I don't like him as a person if that makes sense. He is an amusing presenter.

I was given some camomile and glycerin (I think, something like that anyway) cream for my face Willy and it seems to have done the trick. Hope your face returns to it's natural colour soon.
Just been reading that some of the Scarlets' world cup stars are only joining up with the squad on Thursday, so not so confident if they'll be involved in the match on Sat now. I mean surely 2 days with the squad isn't enough time??

ha yeah bet you are Cari!
Pete - yeah Foxy is back in training on Thurs. Not sure when Georgie and Stevo are back but then I don't think Stevo is fully fit anyway.
Would love it if we could field 15. Dan Evs, 14. Lamont, 13. Maule, 12. Scott, 11. Fenby with Tav at 9. Only key trouble is at 10 where we'd either play Aled Thomas or Dan Newton. WOuld be a massive ask for either of them, so fingers crossed Stevo will be fit, coz I know Rhys Priestland won't be.

Evening all. First visit since Friday. Not talking about the Rugby except to say to Chef that ASM will go down at Ravenhill
I had three kids at the door trick or treating a wee while ago. They each had a big bag of goodies and I said they could give me something. One wee lad put his hand in and reached me a Milky Way bless hom.
I took it

Dad had some kids at our door last night. They rang and as he approached the door he heard this gem of a quote; 'I'm going to tell them I'm allergic to sweets but people have been giving me money instead.' needless to say dad retaliated by getting mum to dig out the raisins for the child in question instead.

Laid up in bed. Done my back in moving an oil boiler for my brawd. Who the Flip buys a second hand central heating boiler? Have taken some Tramadol, but it's too sore to stretch out.
Miss G has gone to bed in shamrock socks my parents bought her back from Castlereagh and singing Ireland together. This is getting beyond a joke now

I'm just planning to put on a pretty freaky mask and scare anyone who knocks at our door!! Although my housemate did a gem: some kids knocked earlier with like a £1 axe from clintons between 3 of them and he simply said 'we don't have anything' and slammed the door in their face..............sorry but personally I don't enjoy this whole trick or treat thing never did it myself and once my old man (he was volunteering for the gideons) gave a few trick or treaters a new testament!!

RVP has 28 goals in 2011, next highest scorer in the same period in England is Rooney with 19, and the third placed person has 14. That is an outstanding scoring record by anyone's standard.

I know that Pete, but why all of a sudden? They have good players, do they need to buy a couple of hard bar stewards to protect the prima donnas and five some leadership?
What do you make of this Pete. My brother is an estate agent. Last week his office was broken into as was the local planning agent/architect. They are the two businesses in town least likely to be holding cash and expensive equipment. The thieves broke in by taking tiles off the roof, stacking them neatly. They methodically went through the drawers etc, and made no mess. It isn't immediately apparent that anything was actually stolen.

No coz then I'd have a conflict of interest if they asked me to act for them
Initially they thought they had been scared off when the alarm went off, but then somebody noticed my brothers room was tidy. That caused suspicion. He's the same one that bought the second hand boiler
