The Dew Drop Inn Virtual Rugby Pub
First topic message reminder :
Welcome to the Virtual Rugby Pub - a place where you can come in for a sly beverage and discuss whatever's on your mind, or just eavesdrop on the regulars if you fancy a break from all the rugby chat.
The only rule in this pub is one of mutual respect for everyone in it, oh and no defacing picture of newly crowned IRB World Player of the year Thierry Dusautoir.
So pull up a chair....what'll it be?

Tea is for mugs.
My contribution. A lot of alcohol was consumed on Saturday night/Sunday morning. I really hope this will reignite our season.

Its good. Really good. Govan humour is like the Blues of Comedy. Like all great art, its born from struggling and strife.
Same as parts of de Northside of Dublin.

Quite how Nigel Owens allowed Munster to get away with so much sealing-off of the ball in the 40-phase build-up is another matter. I don't want to take away from Munster's nerve and control and the greatness of O'Gara's kick, but referees have to be better at the breakdown.

Watched Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows part 1 last night. I know they are kids books/films, but can't help loving them.
Best of luck for your meeting with the trustees prop.
Any on the go?

But no, it hasn't really sunk in properly that I'm going yet. Probably will on Friday.

looks like I've arrived just in time for brecwast
Bore da/Morning all, hope everyone's well.
Nerves are kicking in for Friday already. Not sure whether to just go and watch the Blues v Edinburgh live and find out the Scarlets score later, or stay nervously glued to my laptop watching the Scarlets match on a dodgy stream. Reckon I might opt for the latter....

Looks like it will be an enforced 6/2 forwards/backs split on the bench for us against the Blues on Friday night if Topsy fails a fitness test again this week, as with Hape looking like being banned we only have 9 fit and available backs in the Euro squad!

Pete - , just coz he's cited doesn't mean he'll get banned. Hape has a pretty clean record, doesn't he?

Well, yes it's a slim chance he won't get banned, but it's still a chance.
and righty, loads of meetings here today so all set to be a busy day so off I go. Might be able to pop back in later but I doubt it.
Have beautiful days all.

Re: The Dew Drop Inn Virtual Rugby Pub
I'd love to visit Welford Road.
The Stadiums I want to visit that I've not been to:
- Stadio Flaminio
- Stade de France
- The RDS
- The Rec
- Welford Road
- Rodney Parade
- Parc y Scarlets
- Stade Aime Giral
- Stade Ernest Wallon
I'm hoping to visit 3 of them this season. I never to get to see the RDS as Leinster always just play in Aviva Stadium v Munster.

Oh he went there !!!!!!!
I've been to see Leinster v Clermont last season. To be honest most Leinster games worth getting to from a neutral view are in Aviva.

Yes but if Leinster are playing Connacht, Munster are playing Ulster which takes precedence.
