The Dew Drop Inn Virtual Rugby Pub
First topic message reminder :
Welcome to the Virtual Rugby Pub - a place where you can come in for a sly beverage and discuss whatever's on your mind, or just eavesdrop on the regulars if you fancy a break from all the rugby chat.
The only rule in this pub is one of mutual respect for everyone in it, oh and no defacing picture of newly crowned IRB World Player of the year Thierry Dusautoir.
So pull up a chair....what'll it be?

Re: The Dew Drop Inn Virtual Rugby Pub
Ach, away lass, I sorted all travel arrangements with a straggler or two in mind! So, perfect, we'll see you on Friday evening, the 3 nights will fly byperthshirepuma wrote:As, would love to join up on the Friday, but (a) would that be throwing a spanner in the works for the Saturday arrangments, travel/ticket wise? and (b) feel kinda awkward inviting myself for 3 nights!! However, can't see any way of getting to Llanelli from Hythe by train in time to meet up on the Saturday. Ditto getting to Bath on the Sunday.
PS While I think about it, any food allergies for those coming to stay?

For tackle that knocked dave Denton into next week. Was right in front of the referee who took no action, wasn't even a penalty.

Obviously I am biased, but no I don't think it was worth a citing. Asbo was watching the game and commented at the time that it was a legal tackle.

Pete, I see Cox has also been cited for his alleged assault on Hape.

Cox was always going to get cited. He came on with a real bee in his bonnet with Hape and had a pop at him straight away, then when Hape tried a quick 22 drop out to himself, Cox had him pinned on the ground and forearm smashed/elbowed him in the face.
With all these citings we are getting a reputation as a dirty side, but we really aren't. very frustrating.

Re: The Dew Drop Inn Virtual Rugby Pub
Evening.
My mate (bless him) did this banner for me in Prato, thinking I was flying on Thursday.

He's gutted now he knows that I am not going on my "vacation" till a few days after and he did that for me. He's afraid he'll look an idiot when I go to the USAP game on Thursday.

Quote Steward Barnes
Quite how Nigel Owens allowed Munster to get away with so much sealing-off of the ball in the 40-phase build-up is another matter. I don't want to take away from Munster's nerve and control and the greatness of O'Gara's kick, but referees have to be better at the breakdown.

No. Well... yes - he is a t@wat. But, hes right about Munster. They seal-off better than Ron Seal at the breakdown. Glas was right. He predicted it weeks before.
They cheat for fun. Always have and they got away with murder that day. Miracle me arse. Saints were robbed by the ref.
Good to see ya back in the Red, Hugs me darlin. Looks proper.

Yes Mr. Rav. More Rupees + Less tax => more shekels = more fun. And prettier clouds everywhere ya go.
This song sums up all of the people in't Pub. And all the weather shared. Looking forward to some gorgeous weather mid-December.
