The Dew Drop Inn Virtual Rugby Pub
First topic message reminder :
Welcome to the Virtual Rugby Pub - a place where you can come in for a sly beverage and discuss whatever's on your mind, or just eavesdrop on the regulars if you fancy a break from all the rugby chat.
The only rule in this pub is one of mutual respect for everyone in it, oh and no defacing picture of Micky T above the bar!
So pull up a chair....what'll it be?

Unfortunately not Hughie.
I wish I could - I would have 3400 members to brag about
Even if you dont have anything to contribute, its always good to have members numbers high as it will attract others to join.
And let me know what you think about the site (good and bad!)
Did you see - I got Adam Jones to confirm the Q&A!

An irrating last 2 hours in work waiting for people to get back to me with info.
I'd leave early but the phones are hoping which is something.

Kenny!
Great news that you are back home at last!
Might leave the "leaps and bounds" for a bit yet though!
You really should get along to a "pub" meetup when you are at yourself again.
They really aren't a bad bunch.
Well...most of...well...some of them any way!
Well, Cari and Dreamer and Swanny and...

Re: The Dew Drop Inn Virtual Rugby Pub
Hopping I meant. We're selling a trip from Galway to Toulouse for the return leg and obviously with all the build up there's a lot of enquiries. Trying to do discounts for Connacht season ticket holders and Connacht Club members - so the interest hsa been healthy today.
Re: The Dew Drop Inn Virtual Rugby Pub
How much for the trip Staggy?? Probably around 600 euro yeah

Re: The Dew Drop Inn Virtual Rugby Pub
Nah its €499 - 2 nights accommodation, private Connacht flight from Knock, free pint in Trevs bar, coach transfers etc.
Tickets aren't included though. Most people will just get them through the clubs. If someone needs em we can get them.

I don't follow, MrsP?
Why 550 if they don't. Tis free!!
Whats a pain at the minute is that the date of the game is undecided. It means that the Ryanair flight to Carcassonne is useless and it means that we have had to plan for a Friday night game, Saturday game and Sunday game.

Your ad doesn't mention Ryanair
ASM charter planes;decent fan base=numbers=possibility to offer a service at lower cost.Trying to tap into a small province is obviously difficult;but don't complain, you'll make a fortune out of the other 3

We aren't using Ryanair. There is a Ryanair flight to Carcassonne that leaves Friday night. But fans can't book it because the game could be Friday night. It also means you need to stay at least 4 days in France.
We've hired a charter for it to remove these obstacles Lot of phone calls about it today.
You must be happy at the prospect of a bonus point win this weekend.
Re: The Dew Drop Inn Virtual Rugby Pub
No bonus point, just a big party,200 former players/coaches and a big firework show. There will only be one French club in the semis, and it won't be ASM.

I don't think ASM will do it either. To me Tigers will front up and claim the pool.
I do think a bonus point is within your reach though.
Re: The Dew Drop Inn Virtual Rugby Pub
ASM want the national prize this season,Toulouse will win Europe. However, it is highly possible that ASM qualify for the KO stage, but with a game in Ireland and a ref that doesn't understand
