The Dew Drop Inn Virtual Rugby Pub
First topic message reminder :
Welcome to the Virtual Rugby Pub - a place where you can come in for a sly beverage and discuss whatever's on your mind, or just eavesdrop on the regulars if you fancy a break from all the rugby chat.
The only rule in this pub is one of mutual respect for everyone in it, oh and no defacing picture of Micky T above the bar!
So pull up a chair....what'll it be?

Cardiff folks. can you do me a favour?
can you facebook me some good hotels that a mate of mine wants to stay in for a stags next March.
It needs to be a central one
That's it then, conclusive proof. As a seasoned SA drinker, he will have had his distraction strategies in place.
Woah woah woah hold up there!! Yes I am a seasoned SA drinker BUT if I let ones rip like that night I admit to it and am proud...I believe one of the two micks/hoog admitted it was them at the end of the night!!
Afternoon regs....Cari you should swap some of the buttons on the keyboard about and then fart in the air conditioning system before turning it on full.

Prop. it was not me. I think I know Mickado's brand as well and don't think it was him either.
Maybe it was Cari.
Hughie, you are classy. I nearly got sick on the train that time as well (right before I got videod getting sick outside wembeley)
Good time up north?
and Penfro, I have had some good drinking sessions in recent weeks and all sick free.
Box of lego in the morning but no sick

What line were you on Hughie?
I did some 'lane marking' out of the window of a taxi going through Chelsea many moons ago. I always choose the best neighbourhoods.
You should have seen the look on the driver's face as he said: "Noooooo... please... not in my taxi please!"
I think I managed a pathetic sounding "Sorry mate.." Bloody Australian Baastards!

Re: The Dew Drop Inn Virtual Rugby Pub
When I spew up I can feel it coming a mile off so can usually save it somewhat.
Mick remember last year in Dublin coming back in taxi. Gave the driver a tap, he pulled in, I got out of the taxi and sprayed the place. Problem solved

Re: The Dew Drop Inn Virtual Rugby Pub
Eh Stag, that wasn't a taxi driver. that was my mate who was a bouncer in a night club. remember we waited for him to finish up so he could give us a lift home? cause it was snowing and there weren't many taxi's floating about.
But I agree you were very controlled in that situation.

I have to say, any passing potential punters may not be too encouraged to join the pub with the current topics of conversation.

I just want to have it written down for the record, that Rava and I were elsewhere. We were in a place where people didn't fart. It was that posh.

Au contraire Mrs P, au contraire.
Stag - PM Hound. There's nothing he doesn't know about ales or the places that sell them.
Personally, when I was there Wrexham Lager was still going, which was a family brewery started by Czechoslovakians, so it was proper lager. As to ales Bass, Hancocks HB, Old Speckled Hen.

Never was going to be Asbo.
Unfortunately the very inconsiderate Kaino did not check our fixture list before organising his wedding.
Typical, eh?
Now if that had happened to one of the Tigers' front row there would have been accusations of men on grassy knolls!

Afternoon all - how are the Mo's coming along?
Having a revealing of mine later tonight - stay tuned! (or not if you value your sanity!)
Doing a feature with Glasgow Warriors next week on their Mo's - so if you have any quetions for them, please PM me
Also - any feedback about the grassroots email I sent out last night would be good. I've only had one response and it was a moan about emailing him! 3450 emails and 1 response!

Afoa will indeed be a loss but I'm trying to look at it as a positive that he came early.
Better to have had him for 2 games before he was due to start.
Really could have been doing with him though right enough!

Re: The Dew Drop Inn Virtual Rugby Pub
here it is guys:
Dear Members,
As you know, the 606v2 website has now been running for nearly 10 months and we have all enjoyed the huge growth that has happened.
We are now close to three and a half thousand members and look to continue to grow in to the new year. We have many exciting ventures planned, all of which you will hear about soon.
The first of which, is of a sister website which is launching tomorrow.
www.v2grassroots.co.uk is a new website that is going to become the leading amateur football site in the UK. Currently, the few amateur football websites out there are very regional - the new site aims to bring together clubs from all over the UK and Eire, to share best practice and tips.
It will be suitable for team members to chat as well as hearing announcements from their coaches.
Hopefully you will all support the new website and take a look. It has a front end web presence as well as a familiar looking forum attached.
I would urge you all to join and help make it as successful as 606v2. Even if you only want to come on to chat about football, you will be welcomed. And as we all know, as soon as people see others joining, a snowball effect happens - so please join and say hello!
Please feel to tell any club you are part of about it to - we will be contacting them soon anyway!
v2grassroots will hopefully help bring new members to 606v2 as well - so lets make it a success together.
So join now and thank you for your support!

Re: The Dew Drop Inn Virtual Rugby Pub
Afternoon all. Apparently a certain Mr Dallaglio is in our building for meetings with senior management. What it’s about I don’t know but we are a major sponsor of rugby.
Excitement all the way here! Yesterday we had a bomb scare when a suspicious package was discovered on the scanners used in the post room. I’ve seen the X-ray of it. It certainly looked dodgy, with what appeared to be a detonator wired to what could have been an accelerant and then into the main body of the package
Saints v Scarlets at the pub in Ealing later. But work to do now.
Laters.

Aft. all. Nearly home time. One more sleep and off on the big bird in the morning.
I'm so made up Hughie is going to the game with us tomorrow. I know there will be those among you that wouldn't share in that joy but well.....
Hughie the top I have for you is XL. Hope that's OK? It's a pity I'm not allowed to take liquids on the plane otherwise I would pack a flask of SOUP for you.
Later folks....
