First topic message reminder :

Welcome to the Virtual Rugby Pub - a place where you can come in for a sly beverage and discuss whatever's on your mind, or just eavesdrop on the regulars if you fancy a break from all the rugby chat.

The only rule in this pub is one of mutual respect for everyone in it, oh and no defacing the pictures of Chris Paterson, Steve Thompson and Jonny Wilkinson above the bar!

So pull up a chair....what'll it be?

Ale cuppa coffee mug guinness cider RedWine Bubbly

Super, SUPER chuffed with the win though, nailbiting stuff for the last few mins though, so thought the Dragons were going to get the try for the win!

I thought we did some things much better than of late.

I know you weren't expecting much but a TBP against any Munster side is worth celebrating for Ulster fans!

The second team won you the league last season Stag. The Scarlets only played for five minutes in that whole match. After about half an hour in fact the went to pot, but still won. That's often how you win away from home, just take limited chances and hope for the best. Glasgow home on the 7th is a good step up to prepare for Northampton on the 14th. I can't symathise too much with the Dragons as they had a 23 man squad, surely they can make sure more than two players can take the kicks?

You would have thought so Glas, although to be fair, one of them was straight in front of the posts, not quite sure how the poor guy managed to miss that one.

I wasn't too impressed with Georgie this evening. He still doesn't look fully fit to me.

This wasn't our second team though Glas. This was arguably 3rd or 4th choice in some places with the inclusion of David O'Callaghan, Duncan Williams, Tommy O'Donnell, Luke O'Dea, Tommy Gleeson, Ian Nagle in the starting team.

Don't get me wrong I'm glad they played but the result was never in doubt IMO. Denying Ulster the try bonus point was the objective and it never came to pass unfortunately.

Ulsters NIQ did very well - Afoa, Muller, Terblanche, Pienaar and Wannenberg were all good IMO and many Ulster kiddies did well too especially Faloon who was very good.

Keatley did very poorly today I felt. However I think Munster would actually do better with him as first choice 10 and O'Gara as our Pro 12 candidate.

I agree on Faloon, although he is 25 so not sure how much of a kiddie he is!

He was my MOTM.

Chris Henry did well and Darcy too I thought.

And Paddy Mac before his injury!

Thats true though but 25 isn't that old for a forward. Afoa was my MOTM. Set up your first try, scored your second try and solid scrummaging gave you the other tries. Had comfortably the biggest impact in the game.
