The Scottish Rugby Union have been left embarassed after T-shirts boasting of a Calcutta Cup win appeared on sale five days before this Saturday's match.
The mistake by the SRU's online retail partner led to T-shirts from Scotland's win in 2008 being re-released.
The shirts bore the logo: "Calcutta Cup. Scotland. Winners."
The blunder comes days after Scotland head coach Andy Robinson stood by comments he made after the World Cup accusing England of 'arrogance'.

Scotland really need to get 3 points from somewhere, a drop goal or anything time is ticking by now and it will come to a point where they will be forced to go for a try.

Brian Moore is bang on here, normally in these matches England indiscipline sees them behind but they have been very good.

I don't know how much of Scotlands attacking play I can bear to watch
How on earth have they managed not to take even one of those chances?

Watching Scotland is like watching a little kid drop his ice cream on the boardwalk... before he's had a chance to have a first lick!

If Scotland don't score soon, Andy Robinson will spontaneously combust in that box!
I know one thing - Laidlaw will start next week.

Is there a more frustrating international side to watch than Scotland? We should have put this game to bed with all the pressure we've had.

Oh no and England could stretch the lead now to a converted try...still, they miss. Luckily for Scotland.

Hypocrite much? You're always going on about the injustice of the Ruddock lads declaring for Ireland. At least they were born in Dublin!

A 4 point lead over Scotland is like a 40 point lead over anyone else.
Jeebus they've handed this to England on a plate. They should have sent the 'A' team out.

Scotland would be top of the the "needless mistakes table".
Very frustrating to watch as a neutral, you scots must be cursing, pulling your hair out etc.

Oh sheet. Kickable penalty for England. Then Scotland will need a converted try at least.

If England win this it will do them no good.
The only decent player in their team is Foden the rest are awful. They need a big shake up a win will mask over the cracks.
Laidlaw has made a huge difference at flyhalf. If scots had started with him they would have won this by now.

Well in all honesty both sides have been poor and its been a tight scrappy match. At least the English boys will learn from it and probably improve. Scotland just have to find tries from somewhere otherwise its going to be a lomg championship.

we are very close to winnig this now
however hasnt been convincing at all......like owen farrell, impresses me that chooses to kick from so far out, although with him kiciking why dosent he just play 10, and then the useless hodgson dosent have to play...
denton has been scotland's standout.
