Dentons been the only decent player on the pitch. The other 29 + the referee should face a firing squad for producing this dirge.

lets face it scotland lost that, England was as bad as the last two times they went up there. The seven points they won by were gifted to them.
Owf really looks out of his depth at this level, first cap or not looked scared out there. Id rather have the lad laidlaw in the England set up.

Some work needed before Italy but they'll need to lift their game. Defence was pretty good even though Scotland were playing with lemon pips.

Is it not the job of the coach to actually work with them, to get them prepared mentally, physically and tactically so they don't... well, do that?
The fact that Robinson inherited these problems is no reflection on his ability. The fact that he's had the job for a few years and the team have made no progress under his watch certainly is.

Positives for England:
- first win in Scotland since 2004
- excellent last defense throughout
- the pack fronted up really well, scrum and breakdown which were highlighted as weaknesses went well.
Negatives:
- didn't really create anything
- poor composure in the second half. When we had possession, we usually turned it over in two phases at most
- Scotland made quite a few clean breaks

Botha surprisingly excellent.
A lot of missed tackles, and several times all at sea in terms of organisation. They only didnt leak tries because of Scotish handling errors and a lack of ability. Some bad decision making in their own half too. I dont think you can call that brilliant in defense, the big plus though was the lack of kickable penalties....not even warned for a yellow card!
Agree on Botha. he made a few errors but actually one of the few new players to looks like he is capable of being a genuinely good international. Frongt row, corbs in particular , was a big plus point too.
But with the ball England offered nothing. Its a waste of time having Strettle and Ashton in the back 3, all it did was put them under pressure through a lack of kicking and not having big tacklers. Bring back Cueto if we arent going to pass the ball ever.
